I'd like to see a Dodge option (costing 5-10 action points?) that gives you, say, an additional 15% chance to avoid an incoming attack. Sometimes I want to wear down someone's action by forcing them to try and change ranges or I have nothing to attack with but don't need to rest and think it's unlikely that they'll try to switch.

if your opponent opens with juju, use "get far" thus rendering ToD useless. If they use "get close" the next turn, they won't have the mana to use ToD.

Secondly, I thought of a sort of joke set called "The Kongregate" in which it'd be five characters from the various popular flash games on the site. You could have...say...Sonny and the Last Stand Guy, and three others. Whatever you felt like.
If this is not the best way to get my idea to the Kongai team, could you please send me an email with their email address?
Thanks.

I had a couple of ideas come to me for new Kongai card sets and I figure'd I'd tell you. Feel free to use them if you want.
The first set I had thought of would be elementalists. Sure, sounds like a bunch of boring mages, right? Not true. The way I saw them was that every one of them(the four standard elements, then maybe the fifth being void or steel or something) would be like the one Villager woman with a tiger, in that it'd be two beings in one card, an elementalist and an elemental.
I'm not sure how you'd break up skills, but I thought that maybe their could be one or two buffs/debuffs(that the mage would cast) and then two or three attacks(that the elemental would use). They'd be a unique set art wise, and could be rather varied.
As for the light and dark defense stuff, you could..say..make water and wind light based, fire and steel/void dark based, and Earth have the highest defense. Just my personal thoughts, you could do whatever you want. It's your game.

Deeplight, what if someone realizes that and starts with Juju but intercepts rather than using Touch of Doom. Sorry, but after reading this you will probably always hesitate to try and evade Touch of Doom. :)

Randomization is broken. Open palm, with 25% chance tends to stun several times in a row, while with moves like Double Slash, with 95% hit rate, I have experienced missing 3 times in a row.

Good game, well balanced.
Only suggest to create new cards one time per year and distribuite them in long time.

Also, as far as i can tell, the percentage chance to win a card doesnt decrease every time you gain a card.
It appears to me that it is a flat chance below a certain break point and then a different flat chance above that certain break point. As best I can tell that break point is at 10 cards as well, or maybe one break at 7 and one at 10 with 3 different flat award rates.

There needs to be better information flow before people pick starter cards. People should be required to read the "how to play" documents before picking starter cards. It should also shout out at you somewhere "you cannot change your starter cards later".
Fixing both of those things would solve more than half of the problems/complaints"
Also, it needs to say somewhere "If you are experiencing something you think might be abnormal, log out and log back in to Kongregate"
That would stop another slew of problems and questions.

@Icy Blaze some of those "l1-2" people that you lose against might be second accounts or have played beta...level only shows how much experience you have really (as in how many games you've played).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
They REALLY need to fix it so you can't lose a game by hitting "leave" on the match up screen. Either that or there should be an accept time all the time (for the life of me I can't figure out why sometimes there's a 30 second clock and sometimes not). Have lost twice now after hitting leave after other person doesn't accept in 20-30 seconds and it caused a forfeit because he hit accept at same time. Should be a really easy bug to fix.

The card drop rate is based on a factor of how many cards you currently posses - there is no fixed rate. It's a fair system and it beats the 3% rate of Beta.

ianlane: I was not a beta tester either, which you could guess by my level. I however, had half a brain to know that the starter pick is permanent. I haven’t even actually picked my starters because I am considering circumstances. If people have a problem with their starter cards, make a new account and pick different cards. As other, smart people have commented, this game is about playing, not winning cards.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game isn't meant to be about winning cards, it's about using the cards you've already gotten. Each week you can fairly easily get a new card from the Challenge and if you don't like the cards you have - There's always the option of using the Random Deck. Why should it be easy to get the full set of cards?

MAYBE some ppl dint known what the game was, what the card made, k? not EVERY ONE IN THE SITE was a beta tester k?

Maggotheart: They give you starter choice of any 3 cards you want. What did you choose? 2 items and 1 hero when you only had one other hero. I have difficulty beginning to tell you how foolish that was. First, you can only have one item on a character, so 7 items dont do squat for your two characters. I cannot feel sorry for someone who made shit choices when they were given freebees.

when i look at the comments, i see a bunch of complainers (as comments often are). The game wasn't made so that people win cards. the game was made to play. the card winning is just a little added bonus.
