My starter was Higashi Popo and Marquis Le Morte. Not one of them can be considered top tier and it is really getting difficult to play because ones who have chosen good cards for a starter has the unavoidable upperhand.

Interesting idea but it really screws you over if you pick starter cards without knowing about the game, basically locking you out of top tier play unless you pay real money.

I think that the most underpowered card is Rumiko. She has a great stun move, but who cares? She has nothing to follow up with.

MY FAVORITE CARD IS ASHI!!!!! signature slice is easy to kill just give her the reinforced beast plate then she kills

Proper play for Ubuntu, in my opinion at least, is to play for Spirit Assistance first and take buffs second. Unless you're setting up a specific buff deck (ie, raindance for Cain/Rumi/Oni/etc).

Yeah the jade figurine turned out to be black on my screen to!! All u gotta do his click the add (which is still visable) and click on the item slot on the character you want it to be on!!! :) ;) :o :0 XD

OMG ... I fought a hacker!!! He had Higashi with 10 health!!!!!!! I attacked and it did 1 damage and his Open Palm did the exact damage my health had which was 90 ( I had Higashi with some green florestone that gives +10 hp)

This makes me laugh a little. I hit popo with shadow curse and she/he has a 40 percent chance of getting me with slingshot. It actually critical hit me.

the claw is good with Ubuntu, most people don't seem to realize it though. You use staff strike or tiger frenzy thing first (depending on which bonus you want) then you go far and use spirit assistance. Instant kill. On the next turn use rain dance and switch out. Ubuntu is probably my favorite card.

@phantombk201 - I agree that Zina has some powerfull moves too, but the difference is that she needs to Misstress Command before, and go far and her attacks cost 30 or more... Ubuntu can improve all team with an attack that only costs 20, for 10 rounds with a percentage of 50% to trigger... Put 30% to trigger or reduce the number of rounds or make the attacks more expensive and I'm OK with it... Regarding Cornelius, I think that the cost of Pilebunker makes it fair.
That's my opinion, of course. I think the discussion is good and benefits the game! ;)

@lokipus, you do know that ubuntu has no defense and conrnelius has pilke bunker right? that move does insane dmg with NT. most people use ubuntu as a buffer, not just a SA spammer

People who consider Ubuntu a buffer haven't used him vs Corny or Tafari, prefferably with the claw item. He's capable of far more than spamming spirit assist or intercepting, although most people do not play him that way. Explore ALL the strengths of each card, and you'll know the game.

i ddont see whats wrong with that ruivo i mean look at zina,she can poison,stun and bleed the whole team,as well as other characters have their own strengths

@ kamikazoo - Annoying innate ability, cheap attacks, 50% to trigger the buffers, the buffers are for ALL team, each buffer lasts 10 rounds... I really think some of these numbers could be lowered...

ubuntu is not broken...you are really bad if you can't finish him off in 1-2 rounds. he has poor defense and crap close range moves. he is just a buffer and he does not activate the bonuses on a regular basis

If you're having problems with so many disconnects it just might not be entirely the server's fault. Ive been able to reconnect plenty of times and finish a game. If disconnects don't count as a loss, then everyone would quit as soon as they see they're losing, which would lead to false stats and plenty of annoying battles.
Also I still say some sort of tournament for a new card is in order!
