Under rating threshold (show) I had problems following the directions as written... All I had to do was save the FLA file, which wasn't mentioned in the directions... After I did that, everything worked fine.

Under rating threshold (show) if you are getting an error you are doing SOMETHING wrong, trust me, i often spent large amounts of time looking through 1000 lines of code for the place i typed ":" instead of ";"

Under rating threshold (show) Sorry for the double post but a big problem could be that maybe you chose actionscript 3 instead of 2, which is quite different.

Under rating threshold (show) You complain across 5 posts and yet you never specify what problem you're having exactly, maybe you should try posting an error you get or something of that nature. Considered you typed it out, there's a good chance that maybe you forgot the underscore when stating the x or y coordinate.

Under rating threshold (show) version of cs4/cs3 doesnt matter, but most versions of cs4 come with actionscript 3 and thats a big difference in format which makes lotta problems just google the errors that u get and u should be able to find fixes

Under rating threshold (show) Make sure that when you saved the .as file, you capitalized Ship. (Ship.as) That was a problem for me at first. >.< I guess it's case sensitive, which in the end is a good thing.

Under rating threshold (show) OK. If you guys are having problems, follow exactly what the tutorial says. Save the files as the tutorial says. And I think the main problem everyone is having is that they dont save the actionscript file. It should be saved as Ship. And the MovieClip should also be names Ship. Yes, caps do matter. Also, for the record, Im pretty sure CS3, CS4, and Flash 8 has no effect on this game. The upgrade is primarily User interface, integration with the other Adobe software, and integration with the intel processors.
