excellent game, I love it it was confusing at first but after I read some of the comments I caught on and I beat it, come out with the next one soon!

The begining, when, in the worst-case-scenario, have no idea what to do, it can get quite furstating when you don't even know how to make your bot walk properly. With enough patience and trial-and-error experienting, you will grapsh the engineering sooner or later. Include a tutorial to the next episode and make it longer. 4/5, 5/5 if this would have had those two elements.

no matter how hard i try i cant seem to come up with a quick process for using the repeating rifle. i tried fuse valves, but when those recharged, they were used to put the bullet back in instead of shoot. grr! but i still love the game nonetheless.

if anyone dont know how to use jackhammer, this is the guide: use alternating valve and set it to 50, supply it with direct steam supply from the left or right steam boiler

Well, its easy when you get to the point. And if there was a tutorial - there wouldn't be a need for this game at all, lol.
As its too short to get anything above 3/5. Good idea, but it's a dead-end.
Jack: attach 2 pipes, 1 via some(I had 5) steam tanks with a 50-60 fuse at the end.
50 fuse gives a 1-hit 75 attack every 2-3 seconds. 60 fuse gives a double/triple 75 attack every 5-10 seconds.
Needs pressure pumped up before it starts working, just as everything else, except for buzzsaw/flamer.

to say it better, I have a repeating cannon that can also switch between crouching and firing a rifle when I want it to!

I love steam stuff and this game seems very full-featured and functional. It's just confusing for a person like me who doesn't know jack about engineering. Maybe that's the way the game is designed, in which case it's great, but I feel like I would get much more enjoyment out of this if I had experience building things, or there was a longer set of instructions that really explained things from the base of the basics to the actual game.

Guide for rifles:

Can be used with 10-60 pressure for higher damage.
Sledgehammer: easiest weapon, just attack 2 tubes and it auto-attacks.

crez2495 (and anyone else who cant use the rifle), to use the rifle put 2 fuse valves on both pipes on the rifle. Then use the wrench to set the bottom valve set to 40+ PSI, the top valve set to less than the bottom one (the default pressure in a fuse valve of 10 PSI works for the top one). Make sure there is always pressure building up in the fuse valves by NOT connecting them to anything like crouch, walk, flamethrowers, or buzsaws that require constant pressure. If you followed all my instructions properly, you should have a working rifle doing 75-105 damage. Note: using one boiler for both the left and right as rifles w/ this setup an the other w/ a control valve on the other boiler conected to crouch so you can duck under cannonballs is a win setup for me.

I love the idea of this game, but hate having no decent instructions to get me started. I'm forced to guess and guess at how to build and work my robot

An excellent game. 5/5. Graphics are good for what they are, and the systemic design is nice. Made me re-introduce myself to the world of pneumatics, heh.
Sound was meh. Music was nice, a bit repetitive but nice. Sounds American.
Overall, an excellent game. And I too find myself making new designs >_>

This game is really easy and fun after you learn what you're supposed to be doing. i find myself coming back to it just to try out new models

lvl 2 seems inpossible... cant melee... cant hit with range because 2 far away.... well i give up i tryed bout 15 diff ways... 2/5 too hard

Now for my rating....
I give it a 4/5, because of several things, the design of your robot disappearing after you finish a battle and go to the Mission Select screen; no tutorial telling how objects work, creating an unnecessary steep learning curve.
Other than that it's a good game, so it still deserves a good rating.

Great game, once you get the hang of it and learn what everything does and how things work together it is possible to create some rather nice systems.
Through trial and error I've created a system that allows my robot to crouch when I want to and to continualy fire from one Repeating Rifle dealing 95-120 damage per shot.
Also for all you people who don't know what to do, here are a few helpful tips:
Moving forward and backward are useless. DO NOT use melee weapons. Ignore ALL ranged weapons but the Repeating Rifle. Also keep in mind to use the valve (when fighting) to crouch with.
