Obviously there will not be any updates for this game, but hopefully there will be something mechanically similar without the lack of features.

Awesome game. Needs more though. Most of the game is spent trying to figure out how to do ANYTHING, but then as soon as you do, it seems like suddenly the game is over. I've invested a couple hors figuring it out, so now I want to actually play. Four battles isn't enough. Looking forward to the rest.

also if your having trouble with the game DONT BE AFRAID TO TEST STUFF. a failed experiment is just a test, theres a restart button for a reason.

i see we have our share of pussies out there who need a tutorial to do this. anyways 5/5 for the need for working at it and being able to make a robot out of bits of pipe and metal, turning it into a robot spraying bullets at the enemy. Most of which missing but thats beside the point. Im really psyced for the new bureau of steam, this game seems like merely a prolouge of a great war. Im hoping that they dont ruin it or completely change the game like Mardek

click on the SPECS wheel, it tells everything. Why do you guys ask how to walk, while there be the description, called "Walking Mechanincs"? Seriously, read the SPECS before complain for any tutorial. Challenging game, cool concept, avarage (but functional to the max) graphics. 5/5 here.

How to beat the game: Create a machine that can crouch and has a functioning repeater rifle. To make the repeater work: connect a fuse valve to the rifle's *bottom* pipe. Connect a two-square pipe to the rifle's top pipe. To the fuse an straight pipe connect an alternator valve. It is important that the single outlet of the alternator be pointed *upward*. Now to the valve connect a steam tank (it's ok to run pipe as needed). From the steam tank put in a three way junction. Connect one side to the steam tank. One side directly to a boiler. For the final side connect to the output of your control valve. From the control valve run a pipe to crouch mechanism and a pipe to your final boiler. Finally calibrate the fuse and the alternator to 40 psi. This design should be able to beat all levels.

This game really needs a tutorial like people say. once you get the hang of it it's pretty good, but it took me a while to do that 4/5 for now.

One vent is not enough to lower pressure for the cannon to reload before next wave of pressure builds up on fuse valve. Use two vent on pipe leading from fuse vault to cannon.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game. Only problem I had was that the cannons wouldn't reload all the time even if I shut off the steam and had a vent to release pressure. Maybe I just misunderstood how it reloads?
5/5 though. Can't wait for #2! I hope its longer.

when you kneel you should gain accuracy not lose it and it deffinatly needs a tutorial because i had no clue what to do for the first 10 minutes

Frustrating to learn, and too short once mastered. Would benefit from a tutorial, but that dead horse has already been pulped. Quite fun once I got the hang of it, but the learning curve is like driving a truck into a brick wall. All in all, I give it a 4/5 because it has potential, but needs some refinement. It is, all said and done, a marvelous little contraption.

Game is great, but hard to do anything since most of the needed info is missing, thus most things thought up don't work. I assume it's missing info and not bugs. 5/5 for the game, but 4/5 due to the lacking instructions... and I'd prefer a 3.5/5.

this is pretty simple when you know what youre doing, for rifles, use two fuse valves, the one on top whouls be a lower PSI than the other one, for cannons, use need a venting system, flamethrowers are easy, just hook up steam, the buzzsaws are for moving enimies ONLY,the sledgehammer needs a 50/60 ratio of PSI and the jack hammer needs a 50/50 PSI ratio for it to start moving

what do i do? there's no tutorial to help. this game could be really good but i won't know if there's no way to understand anything thats going on >:@

I posted a tutorial in the General Gaming forums. Its kinda long, but has sections, so you can just look up the info you need. It's titled Help for Bureau of Steam Engineering. Ya, I know. Really original.

4/5. I figured out how some components work, and the game shows promise, but it is just to blasted confusing without a tutorial. Im going to keep fiddling with this game and see if I cant type up a tutorial on comments.

ok, i dont think a tutorial is needed. EXTREMELY great idea, wheres ep 2?, More weapons, how come the last opponent gets a jetpack? Another steam tank would make it easier for melee weapons, I used the gun to defeat most opponents-it has a simple concept, the rocket didnt work for me. I like the sledge hammer. This comment will be rated down for the fact that i dont think a tutorial is needed, i betchya!

This game feels like it should be extremely fun, but the lack of a tutorial has made me slightly confused.
A tutorial would really help players to get a grasp on the game, before just charging in there and tossing stuff around.

I see all these people saying they used the gun, they must be able to read that many people haven't. But for some reason, they decide NOT TO TELL all of us who can't work it out.
I used an alternate followed with two fuses, a higher theshold on the second. Hope it helps!
