Arms are not completely synchronised but still they have the aceptable rate of hitting. The main valve switches betwen modes - "move forward"/"hide from bullets". Drilling arm is avaliable from the 2nd level. Threshholds for switching elements are in the schema.

@Kingblast: Using the switch for the rifle is a waste. You can't use it to switch between walking and crouching anymore. http://i38.tinypic.com/kckoci.png This is my solution: it reloads automatically.

This game has a potential. Human has only one valve to push and thus this game is not about mechwarriors of steampunk it is more a puzzle. There are instructions in game. You need to click the "spec" button in level to see the specification of the machine.
The minus is that this mecha is always has not all elements active. He walks forward nad backward or he has a complex steamgun. As i said there is only one control valve in game)

The learning curve on this game is ridiculously steep, and a lot of the interface is nonresponsive. Good concept, poor instruction, poor controls.

Dual Steamgun for beating the saber boss. Flip the valve to the right on start, it will fire a max power shot, then duck. Flip it left immediately. Flip right after LeftGun fires so it can reload, then left once more. If you time it right, it will fire the final shot right as he hits you with the saber for the 2nd time.

Quite good but requires polishing, eg. a better turorial and a title screen. A more complicated version would be welcom but make it accessible first...

beat the first one once i relized the only thing that makes steam are the big round ones lol so then i just massed steam storage and use 1 buzzer to do the damage :)

Desperately needs a better tutorial, the control valve was also hideously unresposnsave, I'm not sure how to even trigger it and it took 5 tries to walk. A shame because the concept is good, it just needs an easier lead in, and perhaps more different components.

Good game, requires the player to think. could use tutorials for how to make each of the weapons work though. great fun once you understand the mechanics. I LOVE MACHINES ^_^ YAY

Ah, it would be great if we knew what rate the steam came out of the vents. I had assumed that it would take priority over the steam cannon, but it seems not. If you can get the steam cannon to work, then you don't need to do anything else for the last level XD

This is by far one of the coolest games I have ever played! Please get working on some more, I would buy a really big version of this game with a lot of levels!

I too had difficulty working that out. THe way I got it to work was after the tank and fuse valve, put in a three-way joint.
I doubt it's the proper way to do it, but it works. Also, it will work with less than 60.
As for the game, nice idea, but it's not easy and some people just won't get it.

I cannot understand how the heck to get the repeating rifle to work. I mean ok I get it, I need to reload with the top valve and get 60 psi to the bottom valve but using multiple tanks + fuse etc I still cannot get the bloody thing to work. anyone care to post a png of a working repeating rifle?

I also had problems at first, but them I read the text in the "Spec" button and managed to learn how to make a stem robot.

The robot stays crouched while firing the cannon. If the enemy robot is within range flip the switch and he will be roasted by your flames.

This is a pretty fun game. My only suggestion would be to make building the design a little more friendly. Maybe make it that you just need to click and drag to place a standard pipe piece, then select things like valves from the menu and dropping them on an existing pipe section to upgrade it. 4/5

I finally got a working steam cannon. I placed two steam tanks in series followed by a fuse valve on 60. After the fuse bar I placed a joint connector, where one part of the connector went into the cannon and the other had two steam vents. The steam vents took care of the pressure drop needed for reloading the cannon. This cannon fired every ten seconds or so over a great distance.
