Love this. A brilliant sort of puzzle/coding idea. Also, because I know that people tend to overlook this, I have to say that the soundtrack is BRILLIANT! Every bit matches the simple little industrial/alchemical theme perfectly. Brilliant job with that. This is definitely a 5/5 from me, as well as a fave. As a tip to those playing: I hope this goes without saying, but if you want to keep your machines running efficiently, the proportions between the lengths of the programming for each part should have ratios of powers of two. If you didn't understand that, if one of your manipulators is 18 cycles in length, the only other length there should be is 9. If you have one that has 8 cycles of programming, you can also have manipulators with 4 cycles and 16 cycles (you could also have 2 cycles, but that couldn't actually do anything since opening and closing is already 2)

phew. need a breake at level 6. i mean this game, with such simple controlls can be sooooo damn challenging. but i wanna finish it :) i love when i have to actualy use my brain to accomplish stuff. makes it so much more rewarding when im done. this is why im gonna study to be a programmer. sry for the rant. i know you dont care :P

I forgot to conclude with this: this game is awesome, though it will lead to some industrial grade procrastination. Many work-hours has been lost to this game.

If you claim that it doesn't, then ask yourself this:
How come we are able to play the game successfully if the lack of a "holding-your-hand" tutorial is debilitating? A game doesn't necessarily suck just because you're unable to solve it; the answer might be as simple as you not possessing the necessary mental faculties.

Looking at the all time high scores I see that the two best scores ever on level 1 are 11 cycles. How is that possible? The best I can figure is 13 cycles, and then I grab every water unit as they appear.
