The animation speed being so slow means that all battles take forever, and lack of keyboard controls is hard. Wish there was a way to turn off the music. The art is nice enough and it's a serviceable JRPG-type game, particularly for being free in flash.

i can tell you how to beat many of the most powerful bosses in the game. fully upgrade berserk first. fully upgrade souls edge second. fully learndefence lowering for the gunner. fully learn attack ^ with knight. then use atack ^, use def lowering. and use berserk. hits 50k ++ for me

u should be able to mute the sound. i dont like this fantasy tootling. kupo watch berzerk studios, they add good music to their games!

If you are afraid of a certain character dying then use your stat items to increase the defense/magic defense. Remember, Barrier is your friend on many tough battles (ex.Monoliths).

You should have made a Tree Skill, to make it easy to visualize and choose the ones we want. Besides that, the game is great.

Arrgh, I'm on OSX... in both chrome and firefox, the WASD and arrow keys won't work. The menu buttons work fine, though.

To all people with comments about red slimes. They are IMMUNE to magic, hence the 0 damage. Seiken works great against them!

This is without a doubt, one of the most well thought out and put together games, i have played on kongregate. Congrats for such an entertaining game.

A nice feature to add would be an item drop section under a monsters entry in the bestiary, noting which items that monster normally drops, eg a normal drop and rare drop etc. Makes it easier to go back and find items if you know which monsters drop what.

ummmm so why is it that you can make everything max limit but your max level is only 30! why not get even stronger to fight some stuff....

Great game, well done. I do have one question though, possible incorrect data in the game. The scan of the Red Slime says it is weak to Holy, yet holy attacks do 0 damage. Is this an error or am I missing something?

@andrew treasure chests behind shops: go behind the sign between the shops and you can get to them. The forest has a hidden treasure chest in the area with the old guy with beard (I think he quests you for mushrooms), it's behind the tree dividing the map. Secret area treasure chests don't count btw.

Akron was tough :o Finally got him with poison. You don't really need to worry about him switching to another element and healing from the poison because the poison is removed when he goes from one shape to another (at least on normal difficulty). Also, when at all possible, don't kill the little guys fighting beside him, he will summon a cosmic monolith in their place and you'll be massacred within a turn or two.
