Why does this game have any rating under a 5? Compared to the other RPGs on this site it just blows them away. Art style, animations, and gameplay mechanics are top notch - well done. 5/5.

I think the teleports were a really nice idea. ^^ I can't imagine walking all the way to the village and back to the volkano. o.O

Y'know, I was enjoying this game up until Kitten ruins boss Protector. Awesome graphics, a great soundtrack and challenging battles. The boss battles slowly climbed up in difficulty - as they should. And then Protector. I'm sorry, what? Did I skip a section or ten? The problem is when he reaches low health, you'll come to a situation where the enemy is massively buffed, constantly healing, you have low health and the boss just charged up a super attack. Instant game over. HOWEVER. That's not my gripe. After I finally beat him (5th time btw), I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment. No enjoyment, just a sour taste left from wondering just how long I spent on something so pointless. Some off-the-cuff comment, treasure and sent packing to the next area. Sorry kupo, it killed the game for me. After such a saga of frustration and grinding, I have no intention in progressing any further. I feel it could've been my favourite game, but I'll give it 3/5 for my fond memories before then.

I got to Kitten Ruins last time on my other PC so I have some tips:
Slime Bunny is very useful in bosses so you could save MP by healing eventually.
Have as much coffee as you can,because the Protector is a pain in the ass.Failed 7 times for it.
Natalie's HP and MP must be high since she will need to be alive for long to use spells.

@lord bucket you should just give tips to kongregate now and stop saying random things.and tip:when fighting the last wooly mammoth poison it cause if you poison it the poison does about 2843 damage;)

O F NO! I just killed all 3 dragon heads after 100 attempts only to be taken out by one of those cow skull ghost things. SO EFFING FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great game though

@ipy999 Berserk is very useful in some fights and counterproductive in others. Viking helmet + blizzard sword cuts the hydra down very quickly, for example, but berserk against Akron is suicidal because of all the summons. Problem is that Matt is the only one there's ever any reason to use berserk with, since Natalie is a caster. and the vast majority of Lance's damage comes from tank and unload. And since any time you want to use berserk you probably know in advance and can use the helmet, there's very little reason to ever use the ability itself.

berserk is a good skill but when you have it on don't you want to make Matt do berserk but he could use unleash cause it would do about 6915 damage who's with me?

Why can't I receive the "Pirate Treasure" medal? I just opened all the chests (even the ones in the secret room. :( please help me fix this problem

lordbucket, i totally agree with you, when I beat the game for the first time i gave lance all attack and let matt buff during akron

After having played through on epic from scratch twice now, I can say that the FAQs that advise giving all attack boost food to Matt are HORRIBLY wrong. Lance can dish out way more damage than Matt can, and the viking helmet berserk trick doesn't work well on Akron because he summons so often. Giving attack boosts to Lance will make the final battle much easier than giving them to Matt.
