Any tips on defeating the squid? I've played for 1,5 hour straight, used up all my items and I just got him down to half his health... should it be this hard or am I just doing something wrong? (normal difficulty by the way, and I've opened all the chests up til now)

If you don't save, one press of the back button can mess up all of your work. People really don't use normal saves except to fork a game. This needs a built in autosave as you change screens!

I'm truly impressed. Far beyond the previous efforts which were fun in their own right, this game is one of the best roleplaying games on the site in my opinion. The casual fun, meme-ishness, graphics, gameplay, customizeability and simplicity make it a real pleasure to play. Even if I have seen that "fapping arm" quote about 6 thousand times in chat. Well done.

To those who are having trouble with cosmic monoliths, you need to have dark resist gear on. You can, with a bit of gear levelling, make it so Nat absorbs (heals from) the dark-blast that keeps wiping people out.

I'm generally not a fan of all this 'ugu' and 'kyun' stuff, but I have to say that I changed my mind after seeing Lance's limit break. "WRYYYYYYY"

Cosmic monolith: get all dark defense you can get (i got 60% on matt, 30% on nat and 40% on lance) and cast Barrier at the start of the fight. This should reduce the damage to around 5k
Then keep using Lance's Syphon and the monolith will stand still

anyone else having issues getting 2 of the 4 orbs in the ruins? i can only get 1 of them from both areas with the orbs

If your having trouble on the mammoth boss here is the secret.
Get Matt's Nettle skill maxed out(Its not very hard)
Get Natlie's Regen Skill and Pulsar skill up to level 2
Get Lance's Bind skill.
Use nettle three times on the mammoth.
Use Natile's Pulsar to get rid of the holy guys(They are healers)
And use Lances Bind skill.
The only one who should be dealing actual phsical damage is matt, who will get up the poison to level 9(Three hits with max nettle)
Have Nat use regen.
After that just play it safe and heal until the posion kills off the mammoth(This should take under 10 turns to complete the battle)

@Dubonjierugi: Dude, what is wrong with you, you sure you checked EVERYWHERE?
Did you get the quests from those people, the guys that give you those tera drill, drill bits and flame skirt? If you didn't, go to center of map(the gate map) head to the right, then go all way right and head up. IF you did go figure out that puzzle and visit all gates, DO NOT FORGET THE TWO GATES IN THE CENTER OF THE MAP, THE TWO BESIDE THE MAIN GATE.

I laugh at all the ppl who say it won't save...
You have to set it so kongregate is allowed to save, or else you've no one to blame but yourselves. Right click, and select settings. Move the slider to the far right, to "Unlimited", and most of your problems should be gone =P
(I apologize to anyone who has a legitimate problem, but it seems most people don't...)

the narwhal minigame could have pwned many other games in kongregate ALREADY, ohemgee....................... version 2 and version 3 IS THE GREATEST EVER DIFFERENCE

I love this game, but man, the hydra-dragon (hydragon?) ...accruing poison doesn't work, two healing heads, Lance's limit breaks are pointless, and grrrrrr FURIOUS ANGRY RAGE.
Great game though, 5/5.
