Whoa .. finished in epic mode =D . [ eventually took a long time =_= ]
Now I only need one more medal =D.
Item Recommendation for final boss : Matt : Ninja Set with Gaia Axe / Natalie : Pope Hat, Ninja Skirt, Thunder Spear / Lance : Army or Officer Set with Thunder Core. Basically dark resistance is important. Final boss can change its type .. all I saw was two type though , one weak at Earth ( healed by thunder ) , the other one is weak at thunder. Use first few turns for buff. Use Reflex and Guardian often if you can, it really helps.. Don't forget to buy some coffee in case Natalie dies ..

this game sucks balls.... the save feature NEEDS to be debugged cuz when u save u it records nothing half the time and autosave? haha ya right that shit doesnt do anything... overall 1 out of 10

this games is fun ,very much fun and we all will appereciate a epic battle fantacy 4 with more skills more minigames and more adventure. and kupO hats off to you :D

@nightknight there is one, you just have to go in tactics in battle with any character and you can change you formation, defend, or run.

Okay. Weird. I lost all the data. Then I clicked to go to another game, but decided to come back and play for a bit while my video was loading. When I did, all my data was back.

I hate this game. Now. I loved it before. But there seems to be some seriously messed up glitch that erases your data. I don't know why it did, just that it did. All my hard work for nothing, because some beeped up glitch got rid of everything... Thanks for nothing.

The new version has some minor adjustments on a few weapons, Fire Bits do a bit less damage, Berserk is nerfed a little, the super enemy healing spell (ancient monoliths and akron's claws use it) heals less, minigame timer problems should be fixed now, shop sell bug fixed, Death Bringer's unleash no longer kills you, points have been removed from the medals (they just confused people), and uh, can't remember what else. Nothing major really.

im a big fan of RPG and most of the games ive played is somehow included to the series of this game, (FF series. golden sun)but there's more room for improvement, hope u can update this, or better yet, make an EBF 4, :D, 4/5 for me

for those who wounder where to get the red orbs for the volcano go back to the shrine in the desert and take them and use the teleporters to get back to the volcano ull have to use ice teleporter to get back to the desert

rofl L0tech i hate the card flip to. not everything is weak to bomb red slimes are immune xD. Hats though are hard most of them don't provide element def

The actual FF squaresoft developers could learn a couple things from you guys. Straight up truth.
1) How status's are done in this game (5/5) 2) How the character stats are done. (5/5) 3) The creative and not completely stupid looking enemies. 4) The turn based gameplay not screwing over the teammate's move whose frozen or stunned. The two issues that could use work: 1) I'm 2/3's through and the only way I stand a chance at killing bosses is poisoning them and outlasting the damage. If you kill the boss's chumps they should stay down (maybe limit octopus's arms to 8 and not infinite lol). 2nd: It's counterintuitive for an ice staff to be resistant to ice but boost the ice spell. Make it resistant to fire and water to earth or somethin.
Well made, 5/5 easy.

This game is great, i love it!
But there is 1 thing that i dont like... there is no way to continue the game if needed to quit the game and example if im playing at school or library or somewhere then i would like to go home continue.. i have account at here "Kongregate" but that dosent help at all, only that it lets keep you the achievemnents, what is good, but still.. there should somekind of way to letting play the game even if its at another computer. ( maybe a somekind of code that can input to somewhere?.. i dont know.. ) But good game this is still!!! Need play it.. even if i need start it again :D

I just beat the game after several hours, chose to keep everything for the next go 'round, started the game and I never received my hard achievement for it... It was on normal. I can't even send a screencap because there's no screen or anything I can go to in order to prove it. What a pain.

Not going to call it a fault, but something I hate about a lot of games... please do not hide content that requires me playing "Epic" mode. I do not want to play epic mode. I have a job (and lots of other games to play), and do not have time to play epic mode. I am only playing this (fairly difficult) game on "Normal" because it is awesome. Epic mode is for crazy people. FF got it right with Ruby/Emerald Weapons.

In scan, you should explain the monster's resistance(and weakness) for EACH element, because sometimes I see that there's none of a element A, but when I attack using element A, it's actually quite resistant.

I think the only thing this game need is a minimap showing NPC's location and other stuff. PRESS + IF U WANT A MINIMAP!!!

Only real complaints are: 1) Everything is weak to bomb, only Lance can use bomb skills, Lance's bomb skills are super weak. 2) Male hats & armor not very intuitive. I always know what to put on Nat, but the dudes' gear is a mystery. 3) Card flip... FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU
