I haven't beaten the game yet (at the Mammoth), but so far the game is great. Dialog is pretty clever and the gameplay is easy to understand. Though in my opinion it seemed as though leveling up was always easy and getting points to spend on powers was simple (although this might just be because I'm playing on Normal).
Still, excellent game.

Epic is actually HELPFUL in that regard, cdude - All enemies that heal from poison start with 3 stacks of it on that difficulty.

Just a suggestion, when you accidentally poison a creature that gains health from poison damage you should be able to feed him an antidote or something to get rid of the constant healing from poison that he receives. Anyone else have that problem?

This is easily my favourite game to casually play. It looks great, it's way too detailed to be a mere flash game. Games like these are few and far between. Well done and I wish Kupo all the luck in the world with the rest of their games.

An Excellent game, really a great step up from EBF2. This is a lot more like a classical RPG than the earlier games in the series, which were just a big bunch of combat scenes following one another. I have to say the equipment system is brilliant, three pieces of equipment creates some very nice variation, without being overly complicated. Being able to scan foes for weaknesses and resistances is also a great addition. Though the game contains very little I haven't seen in other RPGs it still implements everything in a very good way. The storyline, although it is minimal and kind of lame, still manages to tell the things it has to, and the pictures of the party chilling out after the boss battles really creates a nice feeling of accomplishment. In all it's a 5/5 game.

To get the cat food in town, beat the mammoth and then there are chests [rewards] after him. Open the chests and you'll get a key. Then go to the house go to right [--->] and press down to enter... Then you get cat food and give the cat for meow meow skill... Hope this helps!!

finally beat akron, i use soldier gear pirates gear cat costume and pope hat and use poions weapons... the thing is much easier now... oh and use al lthe buff spells and use the scan to scan akron for weakness and resist cxause it keeps changing. do a + if this was helpful a little.

Liked the game! Only to a certain point. The mammoth. All my characters; Freeze-Ice immune and guess what constantly frozen, ridiculous damage and for some reason Matt never attacks(no debuffs whatsoever) cant do anything with him. 3/5 due to this, thats just gamebreaking

@replete : If you have started an hour before, I'm pretty much sure it has been auto-saved on the bottom right slot. It might not be on the exact time/place before your death, but its very close.

I didn't like this when I first played it. "another crap RPG with good graphics, and samey gameplay." 7 hours later..."Ha! I finally beat it! now to finish those last 7 medals...." So fun. Can't wait for a 4th (?). Please? 5/5....and I'm still playing....beating the game on epic...man, those rock golem things in the desert hit HARD on epic!

Here's a tip to save a turn on when scanning an enemy : On Matt's turn, use tactics and switch order to Lance, scan the enemy and when it comes back to Matt's turn, just use tactics again and choose 'flee'.

then go to the switches, below them you will see these codes too: 1 0 afterwards set code to the code that opens the door you want to, also if you see a hyphen - it means it can be either, and that depends on which door opens it as well as allows you to gain access to that door, hope this helped, or maybe check the walktrough...?

I can get the ball from the far left and right...but I can't figure out how to get the others, or open to the doors in the center. I keep switching the switches, but it doesn't seem to work T_T I don't understand how to make this stupid puzzle work in The Ruins! T_T
