i cant beat the last enemy . he keep calling his worms , dark monolit rune claw . i keep dying using everything . always use despel to low them stats , having always slime bunny on , always boosting the magic and defense .. i just get kicked in the butt always -.- doh

If you're having trouble getting the Slayer medal (100k+ damage), what you want to do is charge up both of Natalie's and Lance's limits. Then, go back to the starter area and fight some easy enemies. Use Natalie's Kyunn limit, then use Lance's Nuke. If you're level 30 or over, you will hit at least 130k, likely closer to 200k+ though. Cheers!

Initially intended to just do this week's Kongregate challenge, because the "this is a parody of Final Fantasy" was laid on so thick in the beginning, the game didn't seem like it'd be very good. However, the combat was extremely fun, and it had shifted more towards "referencing and occasionally poking fun of Final Fantasy" by the time I killed the first dungeon boss, that I ended up playing and enjoying the entire thing, and it only got better after that. Very well-designed game on the whole!

When you kill all the enemies with you last guy, its super annoying when they send another wave and all attack you, leads to so many wipes

This is one of the best Flash RPGs I've ever played. For a game that doesn't take itself seriously, everything is spot on. Levelling and skill system are great, and I love the weapon upgrades. If only some of the RPGs out there that take themselves more seriously had some of the thought and effort put into them that this had. My one criticism would be of weapon stats. Although it makes sense aesthetically for a weapon that boosts ice damage to also boost ice resistance, it's kind of pointless in a practical sense. If I want my ice damage boosted I'll probably be fighting creatures who are hitting me with fire damage. Therefore it would make more sense for a weapon like Blizzard for instance, to give fire resist. It makes the weapons a little redundant in a way, since you can think, oh yeah, I'll wear this for the resist, but then you're hitting enemies and healing them. Aside from that, epic is a good word for the game.

Dumpunium, the thing with you healing up with walking ain't that big of a deal imo. It heals you 10 HP and 1 MP per step, and if I'm down on 2k hp out of 14k, then it'll take forever to walk in circles to get up on full HP again.
Walking back and resting would is a lot faster.

GREAT GAME! There is two things that I think should be looked at. First, the "healing while walking mechanic" makes the game waaay to easy outside of battle. All I have to do is walk in around in a circel for a while, and im ready to fight again. being able to use skills as heal outside of battle would be a better option if you ask me.
The other thing is that I have been having problems with the fourth minigame. For some reason the skellys go extreamly fast. My timer give me numbers like "-1417" or "-2134". Great game anyways, 5/5

To get Slayer Medal : Equip Viking Hat, Ninja Clock , Avenger. Kill matt in last area, use portal and go to green bush lv0. Use other character to give a beer to matt , use Revenge. If it still does not work, you may debuff green bush or retreat and try again.

I think we need a quick summary option for equiment so that we dont have to read all that stuff..quick summary would just show what element(s) it supports and its resistances...for example, Sword X: +50% heal from ubernation; -50 water, 999999 fire...sumtin like dat...cuzi hate checking for a whole 5 minutes trying to find my best combination for an area...plz + this so creator takes this in consideration!

Whoa .. finished in epic mode =D . [ eventually took a long time =_= ]
Now I only need one more medal =D.
Item Recommendation for final boss : Matt : Ninja Set with Gaia Axe / Natalie : Pope Hat, Ninja Skirt, Thunder Spear / Lance : Army or Officer Set with Thunder Core. Basically dark resistance is important. Final boss can change its type .. all I saw was two type though , one weak at Earth ( healed by thunder ) , the other one is weak at thunder. Use first few turns for buff. Use Reflex and Guardian often if you can, it really helps.. Don't forget to buy some coffee in case Natalie dies ..

this games is fun ,very much fun and we all will appereciate a epic battle fantacy 4 with more skills more minigames and more adventure. and kupO hats off to you :D
