The key to beat monoliths,is Lance's Air Strike,get it maxed as soon as possible,Air Strike is also useful in early level,working most well on monolith or even most of the monsters.

laptop 8 theres anothere way at first you need to stun them then you need buff atacks and magic atacks and weaken there protection then you need to hit whith most powerfull weaknesess and untill you beat them.

Great game, but the narwhal mini-game is made pretty much impossible by the in-game thing where sometimes the player continues going in a direction even after that arrow key isn't being pressed. I also checked my computer-it definitely isn't that...

Oh wow, you can actually move around and it's more like an rpg than just combat scenes over and over again. You really outdid yourselves for this. Probably one of the more well put-together games on the site of it's kind. Great job kupo.

@laptop8 Syphon works on them by chance,get someone to spam it.When monoliths get syphoned they just skip the turn.If your going for full offence,another strategy needed.

i really do love this series ALOT. the only problem for me is that, for some reason when i walk, it keeps going to the same direction even though i press to go up it stays going left.

Amazing game, we need another sequel...well whatever comes after trequel. Extra kudos for the game graphics, this game coulda sucked and I woulda still like it for the great artistic quality.

I have an idea for EBF4 if your making one.
What if you put in a character creator? You choose you look and stuff. Then you pick a class, warrior (Matt), mage (Natt), or gunman (Lance). You'd have the same attacks and learn the same skills, but you could have different weapons and gear. But you'd have to share weapons. Oh well just a suggestion.

In order to win the memory mini game you can use the print key to make a screenshot. Paste it in a paint programm, thats already opened, and then use the picture to match the cards :)

@ yoshitamer Read the description of it... it says " immune to magic". that means ALL magic. If you want to take advantage of its holy weakness, use matts "seiken" skill.

@demon32197, if you're on easy, have maxed stats, maxed armor, maxed weapons and still can't beat the boss... it's not a case of the boss being too hard. It's a case of your strategy sucking nuggets.

The new version has some minor adjustments on a few weapons, Fire Bits do a bit less damage, Berserk is nerfed a little, the super enemy healing spell (ancient monoliths and akron's claws use it) heals less, minigame timer problems should be fixed now, shop sell bug fixed, Death Bringer's unleash no longer kills you, points have been removed from the medals (they just confused people), and uh, can't remember what else. Nothing major really.

Just a minor suggestion- you should allow the viewing of a monster's stats without having to click an attack and then hover over the "?" mark by them. I suggest that the question mark is always there, and/or add an option to turn on/off the permanant ? mark. You could make the option appear the first time you use Lance's Scan ability, and have a note saying where to turn on/off the option. Thanks! + if you agree!

So close this is soooooo hard its took me 30 mins to get half health for the protector and then i get blown away. Vote + if u think this game is a little too hard. But other than that this game is great, it beats having to always be in a combat scene like in the first two
