Just finished. This is the best flash game on the internet. Tons of humor, great amounts of strategy/randomness/difficulty (but not too much of any) and a plot that holds it all together. The inclusion of onions at the end was a questionable decision, but one that surely had an effect on me. Music is great, where is the soundtrack? Graphics are above average. Little to no bugs (I haven't found or heard of any). Balance is perfect. Really, this is the perfect form of the series, and I'll be sad when EBF5 comes out and doesn't satisfy my impossibly high expectations, but at least there will always be this game. High re-playability (with more if you support the dev). Job well done, kupo.

WOW quick slash actually did 30K dammage and earned me the 0K badge in one swipe of an omegally huge sand slime, matt was simply level 25 and it happened on the upper ocean bridge north of the beach town, blocked by a crazy bloodshot crab. Kupo707, you rock.

Game will not load for me. It was working fine 8 hours ago last I checked. And I allways had super laggy game play, regardless of quality. I have a pc that can run newest games on highest settings with room to breath too.

The game is too laggy for me... don't know if this is true for anyone else, but i set the quality to low and it still lags. but still an awesome 5/5 game xD

When the game is finished loading, the sword disappears and no play button appears like it use to. Idk how to fix it and it only seems to be happening on Chrome.

I loved the previous games and wasn't suprised when this one was just as good, if not better kupo 707 has done it again.

Im always trying to reload the page. the game crash. and it start all again. sending crash report. whoa. a terrible bug that waste my time. crap........

Find the folder #SharedObjects on your hard drive > navigate to the EBF4.swf folder > backup all the .sol files in another location. Now if you lose your game by accident, you always have a backup :)

This game is refusing to load. It gets up to no more than 45% and then the sword disappears. Or the game loads blank.

Well i saved my file and ran a cleanup program cause my pc was running slow, i saved the file but it does not load. so can some one help me so i know what needs to be done for this game and future ones? Thanks if you do help by the way

I just think this version of the game is a little easier than EBF3 was and it kinda saddens me....but at the same time its way too addicting to stop playing. Now I cant wait for a fifth

Not sure if it's a glitch,but i fought an enemy wet and burned simultaneosly(it got wet from one of my attacks and got burned by a fire foe).

sigh. I knew that the game rating would drop when it got badges, and it was even worse since it had an achievement.

The next EBF should have a zero grid, free move system. I am all for moving from one square to the next, but feel that this series could continue to advance in a positive direction.

Not only is the battle system extensive and fun, but the game has a great sense of humor regarding the cliches and silly tropes of old school RPGs. Definitely an instant favorite.

Love the Minecraft references. I especially liked the one in Crystal Caves about how you should never mine straight up or straight down. That one made me laugh.
