there's a tiny, non game breaking glith/bug/oversight with the cutscenes. if you ue keyboard controls and advance the slides via spacebar, it flashes back to the room you are in for a very short time. it's slightly jarring, but like i said, not game breaking and not all too imprtant.

Well, I see this edition suffers from the exact same problem as part three. With a little strategy, the entire game is fairly simple and extremely fun... all the way up until the final boss, which is so totally, hopelessly, frustratingly impossible that every ounce of fun just completely funnels down the drain. Even with every item and skill maxed out, it is SO impossible to even get past the 2nd round that the thought of beating my head against the wall for hour after hour trying to win this thing makes me really angry. I want all the hours of my life I invested in this game back. What the hell is the point in making the entire game easy, and the final battle suddenly completely impossible?

Do resistances affect random status effects caused by weapons? For example, will Natalie be cursed less often by Hela's Staff if she has a high curse resistance?

@lordomi that is a horrible idea. consider this, your in a boss battle, his health is 1/4th a way down. your out of healing items and your chances of getting away are slim and a wast of time. you have barly any chance of getting out of this alive in game and its 3:47 am. what do you do? save? no you finish up stock up and get to bed or die and play tomorrow after you stock up. besides I'm sure you don't want to reload a boss fight after using up so many items or keep dieing after loading up. that's an extremely buggy idea.

I got Nat's max mana above 1k and it now only shows my current mp. Anybody else having this occur to them, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Alamodelatte is probably a programmer, considering he can see how much work was put in to this game. This is probably the best game on Kongregate, and is rated as such.

To those who keep asking for a fifth EBF, think about it; The third one was released a few years back. Apart from the other games between then and the day this one was released, Kupo707 has pretty much been working on and off almost each day on this game. There had been times where he couldn't work on it, like family issues or taking a break or two, but other than that, he has been working on this. You guys asking for an EBF5 just makes it look like you guys want him to slave his life away for your amusement. If you want a game so badly, try and make your own and see how hard it can actually be.

Amazing game. I feel like this should be known around the internet as one of the best games, of all genres. It's the one of the only games that I would buy the premium pack for.

It would be awesome if you could save some armorsets, so you didn't have to reequip all the single pieces after you fought an enemy with different elemental properties. Quite the only thing missing to make this game purrfect :D

guys it's better to use the mouse control instead of the keyboard control, because you can click where you want to go without the need to hold the button or pressing lot's of buttons just to move a little, keyboard is only good for people that have the mouse that doesn't seems to be working well.

The Epic Battle Series has been a great way to satiate the need to play a quality RPG style game, but without the 60 Hour+ timesink usually associated with doing so.
EBF4 Takes it a step closer, though, with a fourth character, and a tempting, tempting New Game+
Recommended for any lonely weekend! 5/5
