Glacial, you wont be one shotting anything when you start over, even if it takes the premium pack to do it. The monsters scale to your level. Only thing i didnt like about it

This is a bit iretating.. I used 4 hours to defeat that boss and when I finally did it, non of the saves seaved it so I still stand right before the god cats.

for some reason, none of my settings are saving anymore, so It gets a little annoying having to readjust the controls and all that jazz.

Since this game is filled with anime references anyway: How about giving Matt an target all holy attack called Swords of Revealing Light next game?

Since everything good that I can say about this game has been said by everyone, I want to point out a few things that bugged me about the game: we are never explained why Matt, Nat, or Lance have to start from 0 again (I understand why Anna has to being the new character and all) and the final fight ends in a bit of an anticlimax. The game needed a bit more of context like EBF3 had. Despite this minor inconveniences, EBF4 is still one of the best games in Kong and the amounts of fun in it were worth the wait. Kudos for the well placed references as well.

The Blue Scroll, you can get it by finishing the quest from npc in weapon shop (equip shop) in desert!

Noticed that my difficulty level and volume are not saving (reverts to "normal" every time I load the game). Am I missing something?
Also - great game, thank you. Is there a way to turn off the premium pack? I bought it to support the author, but feel like the extra stuff is akin to cheating. I'd rather play through without it first (on epic difficulty of course)

This game is AWESOME! I've been waiting for this for a while, following the series on Newgrounds. In fact, I even bought the premium content, just because I know how awesome Matt's work is. My current favorite weapon is the death scythe, it turns Natalie into a killing machine! KILLER NATALIE. <3

I'm pretty sure that Kupo707 knows about pokemon since he added cut, flash, and rock smash to the game. Godcat was a smart idea.

I just beat the game, and im not sure if there was a save afterwards, i might have pressed the wrong button or skip something. Is there a way to replay with the same stats? or is that just with the Kred package? Answers much appreciated.

GREAT GAME. definitely 10/10 no doubt. A steady increase of enjoyment from EBF series. From the gameplay, humour, and even soundtrack! I hope making this game worth it for you kupo.. in terms of satisfaction and financial.
A little bit of request: we should be able to continue past the final boss.. (what are those exp and items from final boss for? :D) some people call it continue+ so people can still play it even if they have defeated the game :) maybe collect all treasures or to do the final boss again in epic mode.^^
And did I mention this game has a freaking great soundtrack??!

The hidden ruins need blue scroll to unlock.
But I guess blue scroll is in ??? room in factory.
But this room need the brown key to open.
And I search everywhere but there is no sign of brown key.

why anna is good?
because when u have the skill arrow rain u can hit all targets 3 times and thats very handy when u have the crossbone pin flair.
and she heals.
and she got nice skills and resistance.
yo bad u cant use 4 chars at one becuase enemys can have 5.
but a backup is still very handy.
btw love the summons and the game played all EBF parts just love them al.

This is a great game, i've played all EBF games, but the first 2 EBF is like a debug mode compared the EBF 3 and then EBF4. Great , humorous story, good characters, excellent skills, forging, and SUMMONING is a big plus! Thanks Kupo707, you made an excellent job.
But i want to ask, no i beg you! If you ever made a sequel to this, or just a mod, please forget the BACKUP player thing. I wanna play a game finally, where i can play ALL of the characters, not only 3 or 2 of them, ALL! I hope it isnt a big deal ;)

There is a cinematic mode located to the top left of the playable screen. To the left of rating and instruction. It may slow the game down by a very very small amount, but it works like a full screen. Also, welcome to Kongregate!

What I don't like about the end is that it doesn't set a save state after the Bossfight so one could return, search for treasures or anything.
If I were to use one of my saves, I would have to fight the boss all over again. That's... not so nice.
Other than that: 6/5

I really do love the underlying Legend of Zelda theme of the game, The cats Hylian Shields, The three gems and various other themes whilst still remaining to be unique, Enjoyable and a generally epic game to play. Well done 5/5
