To stop your save from deleting itself, right click -> settings. Select storage if it's not already on that tab and move the scroller all the way to the right (unlimited storage) and it wont delete your save anymore!
This is because flash will only store as much data as you tell it to!

Just finished the game, doing as much as I could in means of items etc. Possible Kongregate's scale of rating is definitely too low for this game.

There should be a way to get the premium content without actually paying money. I want to support the developer but if you either can't afford it or just haven't got the facilities to pay money for it, you shouldn't be punished by being only allowed to play about a third of the game.
A non-actual-payment option of supporting would be the only thing I could request, but other than that, this entire game series is one of the main reasons I stay on Kongregate, they're just amazing beyond words, the perfect combination of humour, action and intrigue. Please, don't ever stop making these games!

Anyone having problems finding the save, IF YOU ARE USING GOOGLE CHROME, the save is stored in C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\[RANDOM NUMBER/LETTER FOLDER]\assets.kongregate.com. Keep clicking on the folders till you see EBF4.swf folder. Make a copy of the folder onto the desktop and that's your save. Now when you lose your saves, just copy the files from the copy you made to your desktop into the folder in Chrome again and there you go, you'll have your save again.

SPOILER ALERT Why can't I play on after defeating Godcat? The fact that you gain items and exp from the fight suggests you would, but I just get ejected to the main menu after the endgame dialogue.

For some reason I lost all my progress in this game overnight, and I was near the end (7 of 10 portal-cats). I'm playing on Chrome, does anyone know what happened?

2) i really loved EBF3 and never thougt EBF4 would be so much better.

I think there's a bug with teh equip medal - i just collected my 144th equip (the flair that gives you moral status) and the game awarded me the equip medal

i realy like this game its awesome. BUT if u lose ure safe ,i started over and cleared more then 50% of the map , i wake up i want to continue playing , no save file!!!! ok starting over a third time? OH HELL NO!!! screw this
