if someone have a difficult time against the last boss(es), here are some tips:
buff yourself, guardian and reflex make you really resistant
never focus the minions or the "arms"
summon the ancient monolite when the creator charge his super attack (or you ll just wipe, maybe matt survives sometimes)
obviously use shadow weapon for the first boss and holy ones for the second (natz can just keep "hela's staff", it's too damned good) for the third one, i usually kill first the destructor and then the creator.
the creator uses mainly thunder attacks and the super holy attack, while his minions use frost or thunder.
the destructor uses only fire and dark spells, and his minions too.
so you must build some equip with resist against them. natz can have 200% dark res and 80% holy res with set and flair, matt 150% fire and 100% thunder.
use the phases between the bosses to buff yourself and heal
thumbs up if you find it useful, and nice game ;)

Gotta love stacking up every single kind of 'causes X between turns' you can get your hands on, and then sitting there as 3-5 attacks happen, several of which have a special animation just for them.
NoLegs and Machinegun Tanks is powerful enough on its own without throwing more nonsense into it.

Seriously, is anyone else annoyed by the fact that the world figure for Lance has an unibrow? When everywhere else he doesn/t?

I loaded the game, listened for a second, and cried. Not tears of sadness, but of happiness, happiness that Matt made another game, giving me a reason to live.

So many references to so many games. It's great! I think the '*' in some words is an attempt to avoid that one jerk who might sue because some character belongs to them.

Could you perhaps add a number display above a monster's head when you have them scanned? I would be REALLY HAPPY if you did. (Also NoLegs is cheating on Natz with Anna!)

Absolutely love it, amazing, just like the entire series.
A few points:
When we're in the AP menu can you add how much we have in the lower box without us having to click on a skill to check how much we have?
I'd also like to simply walk away from conversations with NPCs instead of having to click on the 'x' box to proceed.

Just beat the Crystal Golem on epic difficulty, which actually made me step back and try to be a smart gamer. Debuffs, multi-hit skills, elemental specs and turn order. Didn't use any items except mp potions. The game really is epic on epic difficulty (and well balanced), I love it.

Anyways, the second thing is that while this is certainly masterfully crafted and clearly had a lot of work go into it (you must really like art. This is quite a graphically involved game), I still think you'd do better cutting the price off at $5. Psychologically ppl have a # of distinct cutoff points when considering prices where anything below is considered small money in comparison to anything above, even if the price dif is relatively small. I say this b/c very often $5 is one of those cutoffs. By increasing the price to 7.50 (which would tend to round to 10 instead of 5 in one's head as ppl commonly think in 5s when below 100) you might be making 50% more per sale, but I can almost guarantee that you'd see far more than a 50% increase in sales at $5. On top of it, if you were dealing in material goods you'd have a per-unit cost to you, but in this case it would actually be better to make more sales for less cost each, as that means potential extra word-of-mouth at no cost to you.

I'm not the only one who scrolls their mouse over an entire area to find secrets before proceeding to do anything in it, right??? RIGHT???

you think therell be a chance where we can make our own characters like custom skin and hair and face and stuff like that? Is that complicated? i never made a for real game. :p

!!!!! By far THE BEST series of free online RPGs. The only downside I can see is there's an end to each one... I could live this completely parodious, nonsensical, but oh-so-apt adventure for eternity and not get bored. It's got the best of everything! I know that as soon as I can, I'm gettin' the extra content... Put this ish on XBL or PSN and you'll make a killing! Hell, make an MMO one day! Folks'd be falllin' all over themselves to get into it, I'm sure!!!

Glitched Boss? I have heard of it, yet I do not believe I have encountered such, could someone be king enough to point me in the right direction?

For anyone who comes across GodCat after the Second Boss! DO NOT try and fight it. instead bring some coffee and revive anyone it takes out. After a few turns it will flee.

Word of warning: Save before entering the Glitch area!
You will most likely die, as the Glitched boss deals Instant KO attacks.

One thing I find odd that has happened to me a few times: When fighting a battle that is more than one wave, if the last enemy is killed with some kind of ongoing damage (poison or otherwise) or a counter attack after its finished its turn, the next wave appears and gets a turn before the party gets to take a turn.

Man, I hate when I finish fantasy-type RPGs. I get attached to the chars after spending hours upon hours making them all strong and awesome, then suddenly I'm like"Shit, well I guess that's it, I'm done...". Then we're dropped right back at the menu with the sad, slow piano music. It's depressing. I guess that means you made the chars relatable (despite what dumb lance says. See, that's why he never gets to participate in fights), which is good. Anyways, on a more serious note, 2 things: while originally I'd thought you should just let all 4 chars in battle at once, imo it was a good choice to only let 3. That seems just right in these situations. Once you get to 4 things start getting a little hectic and tough to manage. The second thing...well, actually I'll use another comment box ->

SO PERFECT.
I love this series with a burning passion. That creepy sort of passion thats kind of unsettling. Thank you matt for bringing this masterpiece of a franchise to us once more.
