All my saves are lost and I was just grinding before the final boss soooo yeah not doing all that again feels empty losing all that. Other than that great game but I feel like I will lose any progress I make withing the next week or two so I won't be playing again until then.

To kupo707: Yep, The version is 1.0.5. It didn't seem to do it every time I load it, and didn't right now. Happened last night most recently.
Also, that was a pretty satisfying final boss on epic mode. Thanks for the hard work on the game!

THIS THING IS SO ADDICTING, THAT I SPENT 30 MINUTES PLAYING THE LOADING BAR GAME! I WAS MAKING A SONG WITH TE NOISES! I GOT 6743 KILLSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not gonna lie. I liked EBF3 more. EBF4 is still good, really good, 5/5 good. But, EBF3 had the same number of bosses, and in-between fights felt more meaningful. Every area had a boss fight of note - snowland, graveyard, beach/ocean don't really have bosses in this game. Same number of bosses, but hugely stretched out pacing. Individual fights felt a bit more repetitive, and the world is huge and full of stuff that very frequently requires a 2-3 wave fight to get to. EBF3 was short and very, very sweet.
That being said, EBF4 improved on a lot. it allows looking at enemy stats while all-targeting (THANK YOU), Weakness is awesome and nothing resists it, KYUN was appropriately nerfed (way too strong before), and summons add a great and deep element to gameplay.
I just wish bonus treasures were less grindy, and there were more boss fights. Boss fights are really the super strong point of EBF, and the wonderful balance that Epic allow

Another suggestion (even though the game is already awesome!): It's really frustrating that random attacks that kill the last enemy like counter, burn, poison cause the next wave of enemies to have the first strike. As a player, I have no control over some of these random effects, and when a wave of 5 enemies comes in with first strike and murder my team, it's quite frustrating to deal with.

Wow! Amazing job you have done! I personally loved the addition of Anna. I used her as a main person up until the Sewage Plant. But I bet she will become more useful than one of the others in a coming level.

Just a suggestion: Would it be possible to update shops in older towns with the equips from the newer towns? It would save some backtracking.

if a enemy wave is finished off by a status affect (doom poison burn) the next wave comes in with a full turn, kinda unfair.

Oh and im stuck... The part where you defeat the boss in Crystal cavern and then go down you reach Whitefall but then... Wheres the Hammer?

For everyone who's saves are disappearing, search your computer for "ebf4". It should find two folders named "EBF4.swf". One should be newer than the other. Open the old one and copy all of the files out of it into the new folder. I did this and managed to get all of my saves back and have it work on Kongregate. Hope this helps some people out!

I don't know what happened, but my save just disappeared... i didn't deleted cookies and other kongregate games are saved... I played it yesterday, turned off the pc and came to play today... bang, gone.

Uhhh... I left the game running to go get a glass of water, and then I saw Lance reading a newspaper about "2012: THE END OF THE WORLD". Of course, this was released in 2013, a week or so ago, so I don't see how that's possible. Unless of course, Kupo left in there from beta versions, or he thought it would actually happen. Pfft. Mayans are stupid. (No offense to anyone who's Mayan.)

I noticed that the game tends to reset my options when I close out of the game. I played through the 3rd town without closing the game on epic difficulty...took me until right before the final boss to figure out why the last area was so easy -- it put me back on normal! Just a heads up -- that would be an awesome fix!
