OK nothing against the game cause I seriously love this game a lot, but that's the problem! I always save but then when I come back to the game from doing something my saves are gone! I've tried everything to get my saved back but it never works. I've played this over 10 times and have gotten no farther than the waste disposal place, other than yesterday where I got past the jungle and to the beach but then I had to go on an unexpected camping trip and when I came back my saves were gone!! I am not going to play this anymore until either:
1.The saving is fixed
2.I find a way to get my saves back
or 3.I actually have time to beat it all in one day!
Thanks for the game but I would love to actually finish it.

Saves AND premium content don't seem to be working today. I think Kongregate have goofed something up; I've already alerted them.

Bug Report: Decided to finally pay for something and bought the premium pack. Very unusual for me to do this, but nevertheless... After saving, quitting, then loading, the game can't find some of my premium data. I have some premium items equipped (fusion sword, etc.), but no other premium items are in my equip list. if I equip a regular item, the premium item also disappears. Is this an EBF4 problem or a Kongregate problem?

Following Djiepers' steps seems to work. If you are using Google Chrome however, your saved data may be stored elsewhere. Here is where I found my save games: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\Writable Root\#SharedObjects\(8 random letters and numbers). From there, just follow Djiepers' instructions. Good luck Chrome users!

Basically the game is saving to chat.kongregate instead of assets.kongregate, so just find those folders and move the files. Probably Kongregate's fault.

Your saves haven't been deleted, the game's just using a different folder for some reason (definitely not my fault though, probably some software update).
Create a new saved file, and then do a full system search for "EBF4": the most recently modified file will be in the folder the game is currently using. Move the older files you find from that search into this current folder.
If someone can explain that better, give it a shot.

Ok so update, it seems my premium content only shows up when I play in firefox, but not in safari, my medals are completely gone on both however, which is a hassle but I Just want to know how to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I found my lost saving a different way than most people since I use Windows XP I tried searching EBF4 or kongregate I got nothing. So instead I did this 1)I used search and typed in flash player 2) Patiently wait until the search is finished you should see two files named flash players search come up that look similarly alike (My computer is really old so that I saw it.) 3) Click on the one that will lead you to #SharedObjects. Now your gonna have to try both as one will will lead you to the cache while the other will lead you to the flash player own files for the program. 4)After entering shared objects search for assets.kongregate.com within #SharedObjects file (More easier if you have them ordered alphabetically so you can find it. 5)Click one it to enter it then you will see the file called gamez which you will copy. 6) Go back to #ShareObjects and find chat.kongregate.com and paste gamez there you will then receive a message that your overwriting it, click yes. Refresh browser

I find my lost savings! Here's the steps: 1.start a new game and save. 2. search "ebf4" is your computer, you'll find 2 folder containing saving files: assets.kongregate.com\gamez\0016\7318\live\EBF4.swf, and chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0016\7318\live\EBF4.swf. 3. copy and replace the file from the first file (assets...EBF4.swf) to the second file (chat...EBF4.swf). 4. refresh the game page. Hope it helps.

Agggh so now in addition to losing the premium content, I lost my save, and when I recovered it because I had it backed up, I now lost all my medals, which is really annoying when going for a 100% complete game aghaghahg.

i lost my 15 hours save file....i am not sad...infact i got more game experience and now i found things i didn't find in my first file....kupo....u proved that u make the best rpg adventure ever....no one would never get bored of this game i am just waiting to hear what they are saying during their journey of funny stuff and excited for the rest of the story.....i am now expecting and EBF5...i think u won't stop at 4.....but in 5 i want more new things than 3 and 4.......i want to see and epic game

THANK YOU DIJEPERS! I back up my browser-flash-game saves regularly, and today they got erased when I ran a newly-installed anti-malware program, but when I tried to restore this game from the backup, it didn't work. Then I read your comment. I never would've guessed I have to restore the backup copy of a file from one folder into a DIFFERENT folder!
I'm so glad I didn't install a malware remover YESTERDAY, or I wouldn't have seen your comment & would've given up on this game forever.

i have a big problem whenever i play any game i lose it's progress after exactly 3 days.....please can some one help me and tell me why..............11 hours of playing are now lost and i don't know what to do so please help me....i followed the comments about getting back saves but didn't find anything

I tried to get my save file back like Djiepers said, and it didnt work for me at all. Guess I get to loose my I think 20+ hours of work on this game. This seriously happens w/ every game in this series though :(
