The problem with final fantasy is that it has headed in a really horrible direction. This glorifies the brilliance that is the earlier work of square enix, with his own twist. This game is absolutely brilliant and I would not change it for the world.

So...Viking Tanks are more stable on narrow bridges then on normal land. Logical enough.

There seems to be a script oversight where if you kill the last enemy in a wave with a counter attack, it'll skip your turn in the next wave. Correct me if I'm wrong on this.
