I'm done playing this game. Halfway through it after I took like a 3 hour break I got back on and all of my saves were deleted. Auto save and every single save slot was filled with my game play, and poof gone.

Fun as always. Great visuals and sound. I felt like the difficulty curve was extremely slow, but the last fights didn't let me down [although it was hard to resist grinding for items, lest I get a higher level than the end foes]. Humbly suggested ideas for the future: higher item drop rates for higher difficulties, and maybe some tough early miniboss-type battles to keep it challenging.

YEY I FINALLY BEAT EPIC BATTLE FANTASY 4!!!!!!!!! (warning:the last boss may take 2 hours to beat, since they are really overpowered!!!!!. it was still fun tho. GREAT JOB KUPO707!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Triplets: I've found using Hellfire to keep him in a constant state of berserk helped a whole lot. even then it was a tough battle.

This is probably one of the best flash games ever created if not THE BEST FLASH game series ever created!!!
But Kupo707, if you're reading this, can you please do something to improve the game. It's just that it kinda takes abit of time to scan all the monst- beasts. Can you please make the it so that whenever a character beats a beast, it's information automatically goes to the Beastiary instead of having to scan monsters we already know about? This is ESPEACIALLY a problem when we lose our save data. (Happened to me twice. T-T) In fact, in Final Fantasy V, that's how it worked but we didn't have a scanner of course. This cut time and get straight to the fun! And if someone is wrong or not sure about a beast's or bosse's weakness, they can just scan it to make sure. I hope you read this, and do it the next time you do a game from this series, or if it's possible to update it. (Also kudos to you for liking Touhou).

Great game with no real "right" way to win. Multiple options, a great crafting system, and sweet skills. EBF3 was on my favorites list and EBF4 blew 3 out of the water. My favorite combos: Purple bow+arrow rain. Random status effects and targets each enemy 3 times. Level up tank guns skill with the bomb gun equipped=massive damage. Swift strike+blood blade is good too. It's too bad I can only use 3 characters as Natz seems to get shafted unless I need her to revive.

the four characters can destroy a nuclear weapon on their own (praetorian), but they can't break a block without a hammer?

ok chrome crashed.. when i loaded, all my saves files are gone.. now im starting from the beginning.. can anyone help.. using mac osx.. even put my local storage to unlimited like all the previous EBF.. =(
