Can still be accessed on mobile version of kong, even on computer (https://m.kongregate.com/games/kupo707/epic-battle-fantasy-5) to grab your save, but this game has better ratio on his site (http://kupogames.com)

Kind of wanted to finish the game but then SuperNova Players pops in and no saved data is available anymore. To bad, the game was very awesome!
You can still buy the expanded version of the game on Steam and Itch.io, or keep playing the free version through BlueMaxima's Flashpoint project, or using the Pale Moon browser, and other ways.

Ghosts that are angered by Natalie's Celtic Cross will get beserk. They will be unable to cast spells. Instead, they will only use a single target physical attack with increased damage.
Yeah, play them literally anywhere else other than in a web browser.
On Firefox that goes something like this: View Page Info > View Media > save "Epic Battle Fantasy 5.swf"
Then run it using a Flashplayer Projector from Adobe: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html
Nothing's getting lost, you just can't play this game in a web browser any more. Simply save it to your PC.

I was worried it would be deleted or unplayable, but it seems my concerns were unwaranted. Time for my 2nd playthrough.
I think you've got two more days.
You might want to save the game to your PC if you want to continue playing the free version, or just buy the deluxe version on Steam or Itch. Downloading the game on Firefox goes something like this: View Page Info > View Media > save "Epic Battle Fantasy 5.swf"

One way of getting around the mammoths' reviving is by capturing it instead of killing it. However, it is usually easier to just get it tired or weak.

Really glad we can still play this version; I plan on getting Steam account soon, but for now, it's nice to still be able to play flash games after the suposed 'death' of flash.

if you give bessie a dog, walk off screen, then back on screen, (save before the next step in case any equips trigger) start a battle with her dog, and wittle down the dogs hp, not killing, but capturing instead, she doesnt notice that the dog is missing. was that not a thought of senario?

To all of my brethren coming back to enjoy the EBF series on its original platform for the last time, let us not mourn the passing of flash games, but celebrate the life they had and the joy it brought in our childhood. Flash games were a dying breed and its death was inevitable, but I hope that all of the developers that created these games have gone somewhere greater and successfully made a career out of their "college projects". Flash games will always be a part of our childhood. Never forget where you came from no matter how far you go.

@toasterfuel One tip: backup your save so you can continue if it stops being available here (what with the impending demise of Flash). EBF5's on BlueMaxima's Flashpoint, so it'll still be available. As to Lance specifically: debuffs may help you survive, and to get him to actually surrender... well, if you try the right limit break, he'll at least give a hint.
You can also just save the Flash games you like from Kongregate, Newgrounds, etc. and use a standalone Flashplayer. You don't even need BlueMaxima's app if you're just after a few specific games.

This, right here is one of the best jrpgs from flash player period, and i'm not going to go over everything why because if I typed everything out I would die.
But let me include all the cons.
1. Player surrenders are pretty god damn hard.
2. Sometimes stuff like may trigger " " will ruin player surrenders and capturing strats.
And, well,
That's it.
(btw rn im attempting a full epic playthrough with all the player surrenders too. if anyone could give some tips, then pls do since i'm stuck at lance lol)

I do believe this will be the last great game on the web, and what a game for it. Thank you so much to Matt and all the devs who have given us so much great entertainment over the years. <3
