Oh one more...Equipment that have effect on guard can stack with each other. For example you can have a character that increase atk 80%, have good luck and brave and auto revive and bless ALL with just a simple guard. There are many more combo and this game really award creative play.

And this game seems to award combo a lot, in fact you can kill all boss in epic difficulty within 5 turns...one combo can usually deplete more than 40% of boss hp and require less than 2 turn to finish. For catching the putrid worm is really powerful, the drop in evasion massively boost catch rate. You can get it right at the beginning within first 10 mins of the game.

Share a ridiculously powerful strategy, you can combine doom with bad luck to create instant death. With 3 equipments that boost status infliction, and flair fat fly on the character, and another character with the skill firecrackers, this will give you a 210% chance to instant death on whole enemy party on turn 1, meaning anything below 70% instant death resistence is dead. And ofc, you may as well use the viking monolith summon or encore to perform a second party swipe.

There's a lot more I would say that I appreciate about this game, but I'd be here for a while. To keep it short, simple, and to the point, if you like RPGs of any kind, give this one a try. It's worth it to at least experience it once, and if nothing else, you have to respect the extent of detail and content they bring you. There is only one way to find out if you'll enjoy it, so go on, take that leap!

Honestly, when I first saw this game, I brushed it off without much of a thought. I figured, as per the way flash games on the internet usually are, that it would be somewhat lacking. I'm happy to have proved my first impressions wrong. I've experienced a wide set of RPG games, good, bad, basic, in-depth, and everything in between. For everything I've tried, I've not seen a combat system quite like this. Not complicating to learn, but contains enough to provide a varying strategy still. I have to draw attention to the music as well. It's an important factor in RPGs that reflects the mood of events, the general feel of a new area, the tension of a boss fight, and much more. To say that I'm happy to get some of the tracks stuck in my head, that should speak for itself as to how well they did. I just want to say to anyone and everyone who put their hands together to make this, thank you. Thank you, for making a game I'm proud to say far exceeded what I'd expected.

Is there an option for capturing a boss after we have already defeated them? Other than New Game+ wayyy at the end or something.

@robotiki the Summons menu is to the right of the skill menu where you learn skills. You can view all of you summons end equip them by dragging them to the right.

How do I change the creatures available for summoning? My menu is filled with the low-level monsters that I caught in the first few hours of play.

I think I'm stuck. how do you get past No Man's Land puzzle at the bend by the river. There is one push block and i can't pass it..... help!

Awesome game! I was quite saddened thinking I went back chronologically but it's not time that was changed it is spacetime and everything explained in the end. 60 hours plus some more on the final boss wasted on free version was totally worth it! I tried to find every secret on the way looks like scoreboard proves me wrong haha! The most problematic thing in gameplay was that I completely didn't know what kind of attacks foes used and thus the final boss couldn't be beaten on epic difficulty without some guides that tought me how to resist and be prepared for all stages. 90% of items and summons never used (except for forging) I think it's not only me I just liked hoarding them especially for medals.

Hey there's a boss at the forgotten ruins named snowflake. snowflake is hard but if you are upleveled your able to beat snowflake he has multiple faces to reach him you need the 3 stone 1.at the merchant that sells weapons go to the back and push his fridge 2. go to the guy that has a big house and push the bookshelf 3. ask the thieve

The art gallery is an interesting new addition. Natalie by Averina Matthew looks a little too much like Disgaea's Flonne though.

So, while i was going home from a long exhausting day from school, I decided to go on my PC to play EBF5. (I was Level 30 in the game) and somehow a gray screen appeared instead of the game, and it said "Right-Click to run Adobe Flash Player". on my PC, Flash was allowed for Kongregate, But the "Ask first" did not appear behind the tiny gray lock on the website's name. Is there a bug or something or Flash stopped working on computers? (oh, by the way... I forgot to create a backup file before this, So... I cannot load my data when ill get EBF5 DX on steam...)

so yesterday i started playing it at 2 pm and stopped at 4 AM..........still not finished ANOTHER 14 HOURS TO GO! :D.............actually maybe dat bad idea ill sleep at 12 this time............if im not to busy playing this game....... perhaps ill think about it.....
