A tip for everyone: Read carefully what each equipment does, it is extremely important to fit to a single character more of a kind, like status boosting for status dealer (Anna's great for this role) or Buff/Debuff boost (for maximum combat efficiency and helps on making defensive buffs more fundamental). But most importantly: Read what the NPCs in Hope Harbor say, especially regarding capturing, and the library for many good informations that help understanding the game mechanics better.
Also, for who couldn't catch a strong foe: Defensive Debuffs are important, especially Evade. Apply negative statuses on top of it and it should be a cakewalk. Capture boost equipment and Good Luck on wearer can also help.

I dont know about technical stuff, but if we at some point will be able to download the .swf file, will we be able to play the flash game even after flash player death at the end of 2020?

FINALY! at 465 i managed to have only dark blue slimes on the loading screen! i hatet it last game that it was not possible

As someone who owns this game on steam having bought the full version... Support kupo! This man put his heart and soul into this absolutely excellent game, and he's only making it better! P.S. Steam version has extra dungeons and loot! infinity/5 If you ever make an EBF6 it'll be just as awesome

Really surprised that this game still depends on the Adobe Flash plugin - probably the first new popular game I've seen in the past year that does. Strongly suggest the devs do a complete port away from Flash, as fewer and fewer platforms will support it moving forward (and more and more players will simply dismiss games that do).

Some general tips/tricks: Good Luck is your best friend, use it as much as possible, as it helps in all RNG-related events, like crits, stat res, etc. In the early game, just focus on dmg and overall stats, but as you hit mid-late game, you should learn how to use statuses, as they stack up so much you can literally OHKO bosses with the right setup.

Having practically grown up on the internet, Flash games are something that's been with me for practically as long as I can remember. The EBF series wasn't just something that I had fun with for years, but also helped foster my love for fantasy and RPGs as a whole. Like some people said, this game is a wonderful last breath for Flash games, and I hope awesome devs like these can continue to put out these kinds of great, soul-filled works out into the world, even after this particular era of internet history draws to a close, and I can only thank Matt and all the other amazing artists out there from the bottom of my heart.
