Something doesn't make sense. In epic battle fantsy 3 matt and natt have way lower HPs than they do here. They also start out with basic attacks and mana while in here they have everything maxed out? Uhmm I mised something?

something u guys might have not known, if the chick gets hit with a magical attack while she is defending, she gains mana

Took FOREVER... But I loved it! A lot longer than I thought... and the final boss was kinda hard... but I still loved it

@ChainChomp23 This comment just saved me probably a month of agony. Not even one minute in and I was thinking "WTF, I KNOW THIS SONG, I KNOW IT! WHAT IS IT!?"

I love this game.It takes me back to the old classic Final Fantasy series. And the challenge of no savepoints makes it more hard and (in my case) better.Still could use badges,tho.4/5,+fav

@killerlink46, it's FFVIII. You know, the one with Squall. FFIX is the one with Zidane. The fact how I know it comes from FFVIII is the fact that I have Final Fantasy Dissidia (and duodecium) and it has that song in the library.

If you wonder what the song is, I have no clue but I know this for sure. I am guessing this is the song "Lionheart" in Final Fantasy VIII. I know it is a song in Final Fantasy VIII and is has to do with regular, boss, or theme battle.

Uh, what's implied when that weird tentacle creature from the second stage walks up to you, a giant censored box appears over you're character, and a heart appears in it's speech bubble? O_o

yea this do need a save option. that last zombie version of super saiyen 3 goku took 2 hours to get his health down to 1/3 before he finished me off. let alone it took 2 extra hours to get to him(not even sure if he is the last boss) bt im not playin it all over again to find out

Decent art and animation. Unfortunately you took many peoples least favorite aspect of JRPGs (random battles) and turned them into a whole game. It could have worked if there was a save function and badges. Although I will admit, I loved how it paid tribute to other RPGs and anime (the lord Canti reference especially). Overall, 3/5. I'm glad to see that the later installments got much better.

Being able to do spirit bomb like 50 times is a bit cheap... specially when he gets to attack you right after it and your only choice is to use defend.

I see now that the game cameos a lot of things turn based video game wise. Game play is pretty good for a flash game too. Makes me hopeful about 2 and 3 which I plan on earning all the badges on this weekend.
