man beat it to quickly only took 2 hours easy game quick play through and great ending if you like the Pokemon with final fantasy mix and old super smash bro melee songs. doesn't need a save if you cant make it through the play then your pretty much a noob to rpg. It really only takes one try. this is why the games fun and amusing cause its made of all loved rpg.

YES!! I made it!! And, wow... That ending was just... Wow... But why was the Duskull with Zombie Goku? It didn't even do anything! Unless it was supposed to, and it just didn't when I played.

Great game.Balanced in normal mode, as you progress it becomes harder but if you use your brain to find enemy weaknesses it is possible. Not being able to save didn't make it any harder for me. 5/5

I kept having EBF 3 recommended to me by the site, so I decided to check out where it all began. (It's what I do with any of the "in a series" games that I have suggested, so I can follow any storyline stuff and whatnot)
If this had a save option, it would have been an easy 5 for me. As it sat, I gave it a three, because I also think the game would have been much better with a better fleshed out plot.
That being said, I enjoyed the game enough to move on to number two, particularly due to some VERY attractive art and sound. Sound is often overlooked in games, and you've done an awesome job at the sound on this one. I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of improvements have been made for the next iteration. (Which I'll play within the next day.)
