One should be able to tell exactly which tower targets what type of monster (giant, grunt, ghost, etc.) during gameplay; tweaking the priorities to what YOU (the developers) think is right isn't enough to solve the tower priorities issue. I'm tired of having ALL of my warriors climb onto a giant only to let all the enemy grunts through. This caveat makes tower placement all the more nitpicky and restricts freedom in where one can place their towers, especially for barracks: placing barracks towers in the front lines means they get preoccupied with giants, but placing them in the back lines means grunts can pass through most of the map freely. Other than that, the combination of elements from Kingdom Rush (having melee soldiers that interact directly with the path), along with your own unique elements (having height play a role in defense) makes this a great game, concept-wise.

Towers need more uniqueness. Difficulty clearly bent to make you buy extra content. Not as fun as it could be if difficulty on the 2/3rds of the way through wave was so insane and under prepared.

Game gets hard faster then you can upgrade your units/hero, needs a way to grind for power-up points or atleast something for losing a level. Losing a level just makes the whole thing a waste of time and levels can take a while to complete/fail.

I know this has probably been said by somebody, but it's really funny to watch the mages shoot at the golems and dealing no damage while letting ghosts past. No problem though, my hero will destroy them!

ive played alot of TDS, this one is coolest ever. klimbing golem is cool. would be better if you could select a different hero, and change the gender, outfit, weapon.

This is obvious, but it bears repeating: THIS GAME IS NOT KINGDOM RUSH.
If you want to play KR, then go and play it. TD games by design are bound to be very similar, and it's very lame to drop an obvious and unhelpful comment.
I rated the game 4/5, and here's why:
PROS
I really like stacking towers and the hero is a nice tweak too. Seeing units climb all over some giants is a major plus. The default difficulty is balanced nicely, though some difficulty options would be nice.
CONS
My biggest gripe is that the mage and archer towers are really similar. Ghosts and golems are the only reasons to choose one over the other, throwing a wrench into an otherwise balanced game--it's very annoying to have one nearly dead ghost solo a lvl 3 swordsman tower. I'm not against premium content in any way, but even after playing I'm not really sure the content is worth it--it'd be helpful to have at least one other hero to get a little more invested.

Has anyone here beaten the game without buying the premium? I would say, I'm decent at tower defense games but holy crap this game is difficult. My OCD won't let me sleep until I beat this game >:O
But anywho, anyone got any tips? My current strategy is, forsake the archers, upgrade everything else, but I've reached an impasse. ):. HALP

holy crap level two just ate my ass how are you supposed to beat a constant onslaught of nigh to impossible to kill golems while minions are constantly flooding in. I've played tower defence before but the main idea in this one seems to be kick the in the groin after killing their pet dog.

cool game, but I hope that when you make expansions, they won't all require premium. Kingdom rush needs premium for all the extras, and it freakin sucks that way. if you make expansions, at least leave one or two bonus missions free?

Horrible game. Warriors are useless. If they cant stop golen, trojan horses, and other bosses wtf is the point of having them? Might as well have mage or cannon towers to kill the minions before they get to the warrior tower.

More action than strategy, and the timer for the next wave is so fast it's both useless to actually wait for it, and hard to actually catch it so you get a decent amount of cash. This game is not for me.

i agree with satorian about the scaling is to dificult and as you dont get ANYTHING from grinding after you do it again and get the same score it just kills it for me. im stuck around the same place around 6 and just have no desire to play on as i go no where. other than that its quite a fun game ill come back and try it after some updates. 4/5 until then

If we redo levels we should be able to get more honor but maybe at a lower rate 1/4 maybe but the extra honour will help!

Solid game. Fall damage needs increased. As it stands now in the off chance I can get the wind to actually knock enemies off things, it's not really worth it. Meteor is useless against golems too, even if you hit the sweet spot.

I'm on the tree level, and it just froze on Wave 32 of 36! All of the towers are shooting, but nothing else is moving.

I encountered a game lockup on the last wave of the third map. I was able to move my hero and look around but the wave wouldn't come and I couldn't upgrade towers.
It seemed to happen as I was clicking to build a new tower right at the start of said wave.
