Boss should really not be able to throw soldier or boss away, or the should stop more time due to it. It is like we cannot hit them, boss throw soldiers, they climb, they make one hit, they are thrown away, they climb ... Even the easy mode is taking me time to acheive (I have end sketching all the path of all waves to have more efficient planning). Have you heard about difficulties balance ? We are here for good time, remember it ! no problem to put nighmare mode, but easy should be easy ...

Great game. Bug: when you don't have enough points for an upgrade, that upgrade looks as if it was purchased, make it visually different that an upgrade is available but not bought. (Upgrades screen, not in game)

For the skill tree, don't bother upgrading the archers at all. Mages hit everything archers do + ghosts. For Trojan Horses (the first time) you want at least 90 ATK on your hero and 2-3 towers (lvl 3 each) of men climbing it from the start for constant DMG. To respec for full upgrade cannons, barracks, and then 90 ATK on your hero. Anything else into Mage. Then max Mage. Then max either hero ATK or specials, then max the other. That should easily get you through lvl 9.

game stopped responding to commands half-way through map #4. couldn't upgrade towers or use specials but the mobs kept coming...

The swordsman tower upgrade might be better if it made the tower wider instead of taller. Have soldiers that can only attack ground enemies placed high off the ground is not very useful. Also, shouldn't the other towers gain a larger firing radius when they get taller. After all, an arrow would fly father if shot from the top of a tower instead of the bottom, right?

Is it me, or is your Hero unit a giant moron? As soon as an enemy unit walks a tiny bit past him, even if it's still ridiculously close by, he just sort of stares and does nothing useful at all.

Badges! Yay! Had them all already except for the last one...getting a 3 star on 14 stages...Some of them I've gone back to and STILL can't get the 3 star and I have everthing maxed except for the Hero's Skill. Main problem is when the enemies past because the soldiers that would be blocking them are all beating on the giant so they don't get slowed down so the other nearby towers can hit them...

Do people know you can scroll the map with WASD? I don't see why map scrolling is such an awful thing. I've had no issues with it. You can also click on the minimap if you hate using the keyboard or something.

I am having a lot of trouble killing the elephants in the tree level. 2 fully leveled knight towers to slow them down about 4 almost maxed out cannons and about 3 almost maxed out mage towers and they still leak. . . What am I doing wrong here.

I thought i was in trouble when i first saw a giant, but then my men started to go all SOTC on it and i knew i would be ok

I would love if in the sequel (if there is one) we could have our own giant to help us battle, but to keep the game balanced you could make it that once he dies in a level you can't use him again until the next level or possibly an lengthy respawn time.

The gold added if you choose to send a wave early is not the amount that it says it gives you. maybe could fix this issue plz?

I really liked the game, but it takes a lot of time to finish each level. I would really appreciate a time accelerator.

Without getting too deep into their actual statistics, I basically see mages as extra-expensive archers, so a lot of my planning has to go into where I'm going to have to throw away a bunch of resources and building sites because there may be ghosts coming through that way. This starts getting really cumbersome once there are a bunch of different routes in a level. I'm only about half way through so I don't know what happens with them later, but right now every level is a little more obnoxious when it comes to dealing with ghosts.
I love everything else about this game. The level design and all the different enemies are great. The giant mobs are a really cool extra thing that sets this game apart from other TDs. There's just one really wonky balance issue with this one enemy and its one weakness.

For anyone having trouble up to level 6(furthest i got) I went Archers and swords men all the way with the tech tree and if the level had ghosts in it you build 1 mage tower, I 3 stared all the levels except for 5, i was on 18 castle health and i slipped through because my hero wasn't there.

ST1 is right onthe money btw. sorry for multi-posts btw... but there should be a end-screen at somepoint after you've beaten the last battle.

...sooooo
first level
unkillable boss
always a no no
set tower placements, horrible idea
MULTIPLE ATTACK PATHS IMMEDIATELY?
...riiiiiiiiiiiiiight
add in a need to scroll and this game gets a resounding
NEVER TOUCHING AGAIN

pro tip: the front of each line should be mage, then knights, the back of each line should be a knight tower with a mage in front of it, everything else should be cannons. don't bother with archers for your upgrade points, max everything else first (including hero).
source: i've 3 stared everything.

The climbing onto the giants feels very..Shadow of the Colossus-ish. Very nice touch though. Really makes the game feel tedious and stressful knowing there's a delay in attacking giants.

from what i can say about the upgrades for the towers. maybe once they get to level 3 you have a choice of two or three different version of that tower to chose from so one can become better prepared for the waves. example: the swordsman tower gets to level three you have a choice between soldiers that can attack air or Soldiers that do extra damage to giant monster.

The game is awesome, but please do something with those ghosts. Seriously they only serve as an only reason to buy mage towers, which is really annoying. No other tower can even scratch them, so I had many occasions, when fully upgraded swordsman tower was fighting one ghost for 2 waves or so. And I can't do anything to make them stop, so one ghost basically destroys any possibilty of planning for me, because one ghost can pretty much blaze through my whole defence system.
You could make ghost to be very resistant (like take only 20% dmg) to any other source but magic, and it would improve the game greatly, while still keeping the magic towers more or less a valid choice.
