1 tip: Make the buffs/hp bars ABOVE the shadows. Sometimes the shadows of bosses are so big, they overlap Tristams buffs, or other foes hp.

It's very hard to know what stat boosts the damage/effectiveness of some of the skills. Such spells as Flame strike, Poison attack and Rocket Launcher. It would be nice if you could see that before you spend points in that skill tree.

@Parthenon: Zombie defense is not random. You kill a zombie every time you match 3 if it's ahead of the Zombie King, or damage the Zombie King if there's no one in front of it. Basically, you have to get a lot of combos in order to defeat the regular zombies to get them out of the way to damage the Zombie King. It's easier if you always match near the bottom of the screen so combos are more likely.

This is an excellent game, although there are a few things I'd like to see in the sequel (A sequel must come, you have great game-developing potential). You should check grammatical errors better, a grammar nazi such as myself doesn't like to see buisness instead of business and stay on an inn instead of stay at an inn. Another thing I'd like to see is instead of picture for picture battle completely worked out attack. Last thing, I believe this has been mentioned before, but a bar which shows you who is next in line to attack is a must-have. Keep up the great work. 5/5

here's a tip if you're picking classes: you may look and insticitively see greater heal all as a must have. Think again.
I picked the two healers with this skill. But it turns out that your magic power is sufficient and your hp small enough that regular heal all brings your characters to full hp. The only real use of greater heal all i can think of would be during combat if you use the high-attack weapons

Aaaaaaaaaugh... clicked on a bookmark accidentally and lost save progress. I LOVE this game, but the lack of auto-save is kind of annoying.

I love the fact that you can see your enemy's instead of having random encounters... I may sound small but I think it's a very nice touch. you get 5/5 from me

Great game (gave it a 5/5!) quite fun and rather easy, not too short either, should make a sequel, and also i vote for a badge of the next level (extreme is it? insane? w/e) for completing all 50 floors

Aaaargh!! Zombie Defense Extreme seems to be Extremely random. I can be going for about 3 minutes yet only take about 1/4 of the health, or about 45 seconds and almost kill it. There seems to be no logic behind it.

Excellent game! Just two things. First maybe it is a bug but my max magic points never goes up with levels? Are there stat points or something that I need to assign in addition to ap? Is this a bug maybe? Also the zombie game on hard is really quite hard!

fantastic game! love it. especially when i blow the slime up XD only thing is, my computer is slow, so it takes 30 mins for then game to load. thing you could increase the length of the loading bar so i dont feel so bad?

Oh, i hadn't actually noticed that there was a mute button added until just after i posted that last comment. Oh well.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why's everyone getting all butthurt over the fact that there isnt a mute button? you can always open the volume mixer like i do, and mute the browser...Just saying. All in all this is one of the best RPG's i've played in a long while. That includes actual console based RPG's as well. Well done sir. 5/5.

So, Kaeli has 42 SPD, and Reuben has 41. She casts haste on him, and then gets to go THREE F'ING TIMES BEFORE HE DOES? Its a good thing the reasons for that happening are well explained...oh wait

very good game overall but could use a lot of improvements on the smaller details to make the game play more fluid. 1) the shop should include stats for items that are selected and character details to compare so we know which to sell or keep rather than going into backpack-equip-character-back-back-shop-sell 2) there should be an option to pick or not pickup loot after a battle instead of discarding or selling in shop 3) shop items should stay consistent for a period of time or until a character levels up again, right now you can click buy, check if anything good, click back, click buy again and the shop has new items. i was able to get rings 2 lvls above me this way early game which made fighting relatively easy
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
5 Feathers = 1 "One ring" the best ring in the game. critical is useless, go for euipments that boost atk, def then speed, eva. boost mag for 1 healer instead of atk & def. find ninja ring, war ring or fighter ring to boost these stats. if you only play for the badge you will not need to reach 30 points in any one class. pendants are also useless so is attacking spells. buffs are overpowering

I tell you a good way to finish game : Finish of till rock then go back into training and become level 10 and it become easy. defeat 3 bosses then do training

Piss.. Mine got deleted too.. I didn't clear cookies or run out of memory. -_- It was a fun game, but no way am I starting over.

I have got about 3 minutes into the game, and I have already rated it 5/5. The game uses adventurous music, I already like the personalities behind the characters, and I will be happy to kill tomorrow into this game :D Is there a possibility of any more games like this in the future or do you already have some?

Those mass attack enemies are a little ridiculous in large packs. Three birds can easily deal 600+ damage to the entire party before you get a turn.

I think level scaling is quite a bit off. Even after grinding most the game, I still made it to 25 at around level 20 and 50 at level 35. It becomes insanely easy after level 30 though.
Also, are the last 3-4 pages of the bestiary suppose to be empty? I noticed Bunches, Fury, and Bahamut aren't shown in it.
hey, sorry to hear that. Flash saves data using shared objects. If you delete the cache it will also get deleted. Another problem might be if the space allocated is full. You might want to increase the storage data space by right clicking on the game and selecting settings. Once on the settings menu select storage. You can move the slider to increase the amount of data that can be stored.

WHOHA, lat time i checked there WAS a mute button, just go to options and turn sound to zero, that's easy enough right!, by the way, how many times does omnislash hit? i couldn't count em all. also i like how you inplemented the "stronger-than-the-final boss-optional-baddy" that is found commonly in rpg's.
sad enough, i was soundly defeated by dargon. then learned omnislash and quickshot, used a bahumoth and then found him too easy, (wtf). also, i was hoping to see a secret-unlocable-party-member. but oh well, you can't have it all in a flash game, still loved it though, i missed detective conan for this, heh.

Great just great, one of the most addicting and fun games i've played for a while now. Also i gotta say, i just love how this game is no where near repetitive.5 out of 5

I'm only on 36, and I started avoiding random encounters after 20, so if that changes before 50 I preemptively stand corrected. The mere fact that I'm still playing this beyond the regular end is still a testament to its overall quality, so take this criticism with a grain of salt.
Also, props for the overt FFMQ reference, which I'm sure absolutely nobody else has ever noted. That game really does get a lot of not-really-deserved derision; it's nice to see that trend bucked.

There's a lot that's very good about this, but it's all marred by one thing: it's extremely, ungodly easy. I don't think I've just accidentally lucked into some overpowered setup, either. Coupled with how inexpensive MP restoring items are, as soon as I got a multi-target ability (Reuben's Blizzard, for reference, though I doubt it'd make a significant difference), random encounters immediately became trivial. I'd say the same for bosses and Omnislash with Tristam, but I never had one last beyond 2-3 rounds per form in the first place, and I've never had to deal with more than a single party member dead at a time--and in almost all of those cases, they only died because I was too lazy to go to the menu and heal ones at critical HP between battles.
