I just beat classic mode in 5 days (8 actual days). To be just as awesome you need to start off with umbrella, the best fuel/propeller you can get, but only use spiked sled and very little ramp upgrades. Then after about 3 days with the umbrella get the trike and more fuel. Finally get the Thor, some ramp upgrades and use the rest of your money on a sled.

Tip: The first things you should get in the bonus shop are the omega catalog, the ramp angle machine and buying other music is a waste of bonus points!
