2. Maximum speed- Result: Not bad. I was able to reach a speed of 1200 (mph). Now considering mach 1 is 717 mph, that means that the penguin was traveling just 1/3 shy of twice the speed of sound! That may seem extreme, but to put things in perspective, the SR-71 Blackbird can reach mach 3! So considering that the penguin is strapped to a rocket, it makes sense that he'd break the sound barrier.
3. Glide ratio: Result- Way too low! This statistic surprised me the most! I managed to fall 100 feet in about nine seconds with a speed of 400 miles per hour. After some conversions and some division, I found that my penguin only achieved a glide ratio of about 23.5:1 . That might sound like a lot, but modern gliders can easily achieve a glide ratio of 50:1, which is more than twice than that. Though to be perfectly fair, we would probably get too bored playing a game with a glider with an accurate glide ratio. We would probably have to wait forever for the penguin to hit the ground.

I'm a physics nut, so of course I had to check to see how many laws of physics the penguin was breaking. (I used the best ramp at the regular angle, the balloon MKII with max fuel, the Omniglider and the Superslide in classic mode to get my data. I'm assuming the penguin's speed is in mph and the distances and heights are in feet.)
1. Maximum height: Result- Not too bad. I easily got up to a max height of max height. In scale, that's more than half the height of Mount Everest. It seems a little high, but the penguin DOES have a rocket pack attached to him, so I guess it makes sense.

i kinda guessed zeus would appear, because of the very long pause once i stopped.
only secret medal i'm missing is revenge of the brick

After I beat Story Mode, I quit and went to Classic Mode. After a while, I decided to punch another hole in the Wall, and went to load my Story Mode profile. It turns out it automatically deleted my Story Mode and replaced it with my Classic version. I think that's bull, because I worked really hard (45 days, to be exact) to get all those upgrades and finally slay the wall.

I used the cruise rocket and the high-tech helicopter to reach 800 altitude... got the 5 altitude achivement.. and from that height, i dropped on the 3rd obstacle....and didn't crush it...lol.

whoa. I hit the snowman, slid on the ground, then all of a sudden I hear 'Rise From The Ground And Fly Some More!.' I was flung back into the air.

You shouldn’t be able to get infinite fuel… you cheaters!!!"
sry to tell u, but i get infinite fuel very often^^

To play classic and arcade mode you actually have to click "New Game". Your bonus shop progress is carried between all modes, but you have to make a separate save file for each story mode and classic mode you play.
The developer should really make this clearer because I too scratched my head trying to figure out how to get to the other two modes since most people would assume new game means making a completely new save file.

To bounce, just set the controls on mouse and hold the cursor just above the altimeter (the thing that shows how high you are... not drug high, elevation high!)

What i found helpful from others: arcade modes and the badge: Use the umbrella at stage one AND two. Buy as much fuel as possible and get the best toggled boost you can afford afterwards. Set ramp height so its just above flat. Just tap your fuel the entire time so your just at the edge, but not in. $25000 = set Length=1, Height=4, Sleigh=2 Glider=4 Boost=8 Fuel=MAX. Also note: I.C.B.P - just fly over "The Wall", you will see alternate ending.

@Gnagiel, That's a design decision. It promotes saving money and allows more strategies. I guess you,re never gonna see a fix for that, not even in the future Learn to Fly games!

Really fun but one flaw I found: At the very begining of the game it costs $10000 to fully upgrade ramp height. If you buy your way up until you only have one height upgrade left, it still costs $10000 for that one upgrade! The same goes for the fuel and ramp length!
Fix that and you've got yourself an 11/10 game :) For now you're just stuck at 10/10 though :P

everybody seems to be posting comments on how they completely freaked out when rob or rise appeared, I was just like, chill, and I continues my flight.

Oh, wow... This game was made absolutely awesome because of the fact the intensity of the music increases with your speed.
It just feels so awesome!
