There is a glitch involving turning off a one-shot rocket by bouncing off the sea. This would enable you to control it so that it wont get pass the red zone. Combine this with the Balloon MK2, if you use this glitch, you can get to fly at a very long distances, considering you bounce in time before it reaches the red zone.

this might be the cause of the glitch, i'm not sure but if you get the rise medal when you get i.b.c.p medal, it freezes the game.
