-5 resistance with the last glider is optimal for falling, it is the absolute minimum resistance so that you will not lose any speed while falling. You can easily cover a great distance if you focus completely on glider, fuel, then jet, and going up at 25 resistance and falling at -5. Don't forget your glider will have more lifting power the faster it goes, so keeping it going fast is better than slow!
