I was really excited to play the newest installment. But the game just sits on the title screen as the title flies through the air and the music plays.

The 4000k Story mode just isn't fun. I have a max+30 Shuttle, a max Orbital Cannon, 4 max+20 Shuttle Reactors, and 4 max+10 Fuel Canisters, and each run consists of about 10 minutes of gently tapping left and right to readjust against the wind. Afterwards, I'm still only covering 3000k distance. I'm not convinced a few more over-levels will cover the rest. Am I supposed to just keep replaying other modes for packs in hopes of better gear? I know the point of 4000k is to be gratuitous, but... don't make your game boring.

Found a bug: Brick says usefulness is still 0 even in Payload, but it's really useful thanks to weight being useful in it. It even stabilized my rodeo xD

As somebody already pointed, when going for distance in "classic" mode, gliding is important. A jet should not fly like a stone. It should be able to glide and get some more distance that way.

I tested it with a throwaway account and apparently the exploit isn't as easy as I thought, but for most people it would be easy enough to rack up a huge amount of microtransaction currency with it.

Whatever patch added badges and the Black Market ruined the game. If microtransactions weren't bad enough already, the ads force you to wait 10+ minutes or delete all save data to get back to a decent number of microtransaction currency per ad. There is an exploit that allows you to get a lot of microtransaction currency with very little effort, but it requires knowing how to do it in advance. Also, I noticed that some other things have been changed for no good reason. This made me regretfully give Learn To Fly 3, previously one of my favorite online games, a 1/5 stars. At least the original version on Lightbringergames' website is the same, which makes me think the new patch was Kongregate's idea.
And what "other things" have been changed for no good reason? As for microtransactions, if we're ever gonna see a LtF4, it's because I will have been able to support its development. Otherwise I'm getting a regular job. Around 5,000 work hours brought in less than a year's salary so far.

how come I can crash into the moon at an altitude of 300k but them also crash into the moon at over 4000k? are there multiple moons? at that height would it even be considered a moon?

Here is how to beat payload 150: Use the bullet and max it, do NOT go over max. For the single stage slot that you have, buy a spin booster and don't upgrade it yet. For the stage slots, start at the very bottom and buy something who's max lift is equal to the total weight of the payload + the bullet + this stage. Then move up one, and buy something who's max lift equals the payload + the bullet + the two stages you have. Keep working up like that until you fill the stage slots. (NOTE it is helpful to have the Monster Engine unlocked for this, as the max lift is extremely high). Then, for the launcher buy something who's max lift is equal to the total weight of everything else. + to keep this alive

one of the best "learn to fly" games, is full of funny references and you dont need to get "The ultimate Upgrade" to win, you can make your own space ship. i support this game by watching a lot the Ads, 5 stars. for other players, jet + powder cannon is the best combination + the aereodynamics bonus

So, this is a more recent version of the game than the one on lbgserver.com, so will that one be updated soon? Also, I can't find the "import save" button on this version, 1.1.15. Help?

It's a great feature to earn things that way. I mean, I always block that kind of thing with adblocks, but this way I watch them without even complaining.

Oh my God, This has to be one of the greatest Games I've played, the references and the jokes are what really got me XD

Just a tip. If you get your cash to about $250,000 and have the interest perk to level 3 you can earn money really fast. Strip out everything and then just takeoff. You don't go anywhere and you make up to $10,000 per round.
Everything can be earned for free, and the entire content of the original game (and more) remained free. What isn't free is my mortgage and my food.

For anyone who is looking to clear the story mode in the least number of days. Here is my strategy (Need high level bonus shop boosts):
Step 1: Use RC with either Spring/Aux. Rocket (whichever is better)
Step 2: Use plain sonic burst without any launchers until you get El Fuego!
Step 3: Upgrade sonic burst and El Fuego! until you are confident of clearing the game, then buy russian roulette at Max-Level.
I manage to clear even 1M in 2 days with speedifier and 4M in 3 days with this .

Spearhead and Bullet are good for max speed to use with sonic burst. However, El Fuego! is increasingly better as level increases from 2x increase in power to 4x at Max Level+30.
To get high speed bonus, use Dubstep Drive without launchers, or Sonic Burst without launchers. The launchers seem to negate the speed bonus by a lot. That can serious increase daily cash by a lot to clear the days in a shorter period of time.
