@Maharal: You have to click sell to see what you can afford, but you don't sell your item unless you pick someting on the list.

Clicking the options button during a launch activates boost (which is really inconvenient for click boosters over hold boosters), and I'd prefer not to have to disable mouse-click-to-use-boost just to use the options menu

Great game, but Flash Player accidentally eats up to 2 Gb memory while playing 0_o Maybe there are some memory leaks?

Minigame ? destroy the moon ? goku? I've finished all 3 game modes and tried to activate it in sandbox . Upon reaching space i just get a nice animation and then some rewards. I sandboxed my end speed to over 80 and no breaking moon (shuttle and reactor to 30+, 3 bell nozzles and 1 dark matter maxed)

i was so shocked and happy at the same time for this game to come out and i started to play the minute i saw it and ITS AWESOME!

After about 1hr of play it laggs until it crashes and when I reload it's back to buttery smooth. which indicates that there is a lot that should be dumped by flash over time that isn't.

@James Can't say I noticed anything indicating the penguin is right side heavy, or that winds blow more from one side or the other.

I I really don't understand and like your game design ;
why would i have to pay gameplay points(which i get from random achievements and watching your sketchy ads) to change music(why?)? on my first run i meet very little gameplay, not so clean interface, but many clouds with "forced humour faces".
after 5 minutes of innocently flinging that penguin up ( instead of making him skillfully bounce onto water like in previous title) i am told that i can spend my points to give him a decent cosmetic hat. i would usually expect character customization to be avaible at the start of any game. if a player wants to customize a penguin why would he have to pay? it's a confusing design. and it gives any player a bad sketchy impression of the game on the first minutes. Hell i was expecting a real money cash shop to pop up at any time, thank god it didn't.

@Nilloe - It kinda depends what you're going for. The longer lasting stages seem more useful on Classic mode where they don't have to fight as hard against gravity. Similarly, I find Omega Penguin to be the best body for most games, but with heavy Payload the Hero Costume just seems better than anything. That said, I do agree that most of the stuff isn't really worth using, but its nice to have options.

Is it just me or do the penguin seem awfully right side heavy? No matter I use it constantly seem to tilt to the right. I get the wind is a factor, but why is it almost always left to right?

Many of the stages seem poorly balanced: Rocket and Ram Jet seem like auto includes since they have both good power, fuel and scaling. And on the other hand there stuff like pulse jet which never beats out rocket for its money and has terrible scaling, torpedo which ends up being worse than ram jet in everything. The long lasting stages also don't seem very useful since air time doesn't give that much money and they are bad for progress (and time efficiency)

@MichielC2: If you get the maxed ElFuego and install there a dub step, you will know, what high power is and what height a few seconds can get. Install 4 x fins for lot of extra speed.

Forget about angry birds. Flying Penguins are much more fun. I think you have perfected the upgrade and launch genre of games.

I'm not sure how the thrust calculation works but as it stands, low power stages are completely worthless. Even if you use balloons to drop your weight to nearly nothing, a prop-type will never exceed ~20 speed or so and will burn all its 2000+ fuel supply lifting you maybe 20k, assuming you don't hit anything. They're neither competitive with rocket-type components nor effective in any absolute sense.

good game , upgrading penguin isnt obvious, just u could add 2k fly high and double what it is flight right modes, and add distance meter to clasic mode please.

i really wish that in classic mode it would of changed to how classic mode was in the previous games. But so far the game is great, keep up the good work.

Horrible gaem, absolutely horrible. I wouldn't even waste my tiem rating it 1 star, only in the negative star range. With that being said, I rate Negative 5 stars out of ordinary stars.

Guys....listen. LightBringer is a fantastic company. They hardly make games because of financial issues and mostly one guy is doing it. And you see the great quality games this guy dishes out! ITS FANTASTIC! We really need to support him on Patreon. So please, click on that developer ad and support the guy!
Thank you very much. Most people don't realize that I'm mostly working alone and this is why I can't dish out 2 games a year, or even why I went for more content but couldn't "afford" to polish it better with Learn to Fly 3. Low resources means less can be done, and you have to really pick what you want to invest into and what to abandon.

if it lets you get to the ground after your boosters run out and you start falling then that would be better then you can get more money
