so basically in reality, the way you get the max distance on your glider is to:
1. use your rockets to gain as much altitude as possible
2. just before you are about to run out of fuel balance out at 0% resistance and get your speed to somewhere in the 175 mph zone
3. keep it at 0% until you are under 10 ft from the surface of the water then balance out going between 3 & 4% to stay just above the water lvl but keep up your overall speed for as long as possible.

this guide will get you to atleast 7,000 ft with all add ons, but is not reccomended for people without enough rocket fuel to get them to a sufficient height.

READ THIS: Here's a tip for getting the 6000 jump if you turn so your resistance is 3% then you use rocket to get to speed of 200 then let speed drop to175 and do over again you should be able to make it. This really works please keep alive!

Hacking through this Hard badge is ridiculous because we're forced to constantly restart the game in order to test our strategies. Developer: Could you please change the restart process so that it GREATLY reduces the amount of clicking/time required to do so?

18 days! Did you know you can get the 6,000 feet achievement without getting the 4,000 feet one? It's kinda funny. So technically it took me 19 days to get all the achievements, but only 18 to beat the game. It was actually not as hard as I thought it would be.... or maybe I just got lucky. I got it on my third time through. Thanks to everyone who gave tips and hints!

zommggggg,now i fell silly,i just find that the white dots on the square of,for example of the acceleration,means that it its AVALIABLE to buy!,i think that it means that i alredy have that acceleration!!,now instead of 56 days (LOL),i can finish this game in 22!!! XDDD

Here is how I get the hangglider ON day three:
Day 1: just let it slide off $17 - invest in acceleration
Day 2: After leaving the ramp, hold left for just a moment, then slam down on the right key until the penguin bounces off the water. When he hits the water, let go of the right key for just a half-second, then hit it again, and hold until you stop. You should get $25 + $25 from the distance achievement.
