to get to 6000 ft. you have to get to 3% resistance then use your rocket until you get to 175 speed the once you hit 150 speed use your rocket until you are back at 175 keep that method up and after you run out of rocket fuel just sit back a watch the penguin hit 6000 feet!

Here's my method for 6000ft:
Take off the ramp at about 15%. Once your speed drops to 125 rocket up to 175, and make sure you're at 3%. As it speed drops to 150 use the fuel to boost up to 175 and repeat until you run out. Now glide at 3% until speed drops to 100, then dive until you hit 125 and glide at 3% and repeat once you hit 100 again. This should get you 6000ft or more every time.

Just got it in 18 days. Could have done it in 16-17, but made silly mistakes that made me fall a few feet short of a few achievements. Oh well. 6000 is easy. 6000 in 18 days.... not so easy :P

to get 6000 distance, just fly up to 350 altitude and then glide with 1% resistance, and use max rocket with 5% resistance to get up altitude when you get below 100, and also go to 2% resistance and use rocket a big to stay above 50mph, thats how i got it...

6000 feet was massively easy for me..I had to purposefully avoid it a few times in order to unlock a last few upgrades. 29 days after getting every last item - the key is to gain a lot of altitude, and try to get around 0-3% friction to slowly burn off your speed as you descend, so that your speed and your altitude descend at around the same rate.

the controls for this ARE HORRIBLE... my jetpack triggeres when nothing is near spacebar and to turn it off i havew to press it a million times...and i just learned that you can actually turn somewhere but up... but only after pressing buttons multiple times and having it malfunction and go straight down
