Ninjae - assuming you have all the upgrades, my strategy is to use half of my rocket fuel for altitude (at about 60 degrees incline), then level myself out so air resistance is zero and use the rest of my fuel for speed. Once you get close to the water, try to stay level with it - don't wiggle around too much. Alternatively, you can save up a little rocket fuel for a secondary burn to regain speed/altitude once you reach the water
