Yep, the little formula goin around doesnt work. You know something about gliding that i dont. I cant get the glide times on the days you say I should be able to.

FINALLY! It took me WAY too many tries to get the hard badge (including getting 19 days twice! ARGH!) , but if you're having trouble just realize that you can generally get the "Fly up to X ft" and "Glide for X seconds" are achievable as soon as you unlock that ramp. Get those two, upgrade your penguin, and then go back and finish up the achievements on the previous ramp. I don't think the order in which you acquire things matters too much, but you can't get the speed achievement on most ramps until you have an upgrade glider, so you might want to buy those first when you have the cash.

After you play the game a few times 6000 feet is actually really easy -- there are several ways to get it. I won't spoil it, but there is even a way to get there by simply buring full rockets on takeoff and then adjusting glide resitance after hitting a certain height. The hard part is getting there in under 19 days -- nice game.

probably could've done it in like 15-16 but i made some mistakes during flights
anyway, idk how i did it but i managed to get the best glider on the day 11th :) - helps a LOT

I managed it in 19 days, with Glider 3, Rocket 3, and nothing else maxed. Didn't think I would make it, but saving about 1/4 of the rocked for around 4500 distance helped quite a bit. Exactly 18 days.

To get 6000 ft with everything upgraded: Right after leaving the ramp, adjust to 7-8% resistance, and pump rockets to keep speed at 200mph. When your rockets burn out you should be at ~150ft altitude with 1000+ft already traversed. Now simply adjust to 1% resistance, up to 2% if you fall below 50ft altitude.
This helps me very much. Keep it alive!!!

height. meh. rocket+glider max + fuel 70-80%
keep the flight at 3% and 'tap' the fuel to keep the speed at 190-199 for as long as possible. it should allow you to maintain your height + less resistance ie speed loss. once you run out of fuel. stay roughly 3% as long as possible You'll have to add a few points to keep the height loss to a minimum as you come closer to the ground.
