I upgraded everything, and then kept the attitude and speed roughly equal (burned through the fuel in the start, keeping it out of the red, of course), using the 1-3% resistances, and then I hit the white screen with something like 50 attitude left.
Could easily have been made harder, and could use a mute button.
Besides, it's stolen from somewhere else.

to get a 6000f: 1. buy everything 2 when you start, change the resistance to 4%, and keep the speed betwen 150 and 160 3. when you ran out of fuel change the resistance to 0% and wait 4. when you are 20/10 altitude pull up 5. when you are about 100 (or you have less than 15 speed) go downto speed up 6. repeat stem 5:) game: 5/5 and favourites:P

23 days. To get 6000ft, first obviously get all the upgrades. When you do the take off I don't move at all, the 6% resistance you get is low and you still get a good amount of height out of it. When you start ducking around 125 MPH, boost to 150, wait to 125, boost to 150. You should run out of fuel around 4.5k feet. Then I just did a light dive so I had 0 resistance, but was gaining a lot of speed. Get to about 20 feet from the water, and pull up a little bit, about 10% resistance, and try to milk it as far as you can.

22days on first try...
you dont even have to steer to reach 6k feet. just boost speed to just below 200mph and keep the speed until fuel runs out. then just glide and do nothing

34 days... great game!
I got it by keeping my altitude fairly low and using my speed to keep me going about 150 to 200 mph, I was still going about 125 when the screen turned white and I finished the game. Took me about 10 tries to get that last one... of course, that is now one rich penguin!

awesome, period. cant wait for badges :D
just bumping this :Keep this up for those who can't get 6000 To break 6000, hold space and left as you leave the ramp. You want to get to a climb angle that keeps your speed around 175. Once your fuel is almost out, start to level out so you keep the speed of 175 after you run out. Now, set a glide to keep your speed around 175. You'll have to adjust between 0 and 1 resistance every few seconds, but keep to 175 until you are 5-10 feet above the ground. Wait as long as you can and gently push left to stay as close to the water as possible, but don't bounce off it. Keep adjusting to stay above the water, and you'll easily get 6000. You can get 7800 doing it this way.
there was another tut for that ...trying to find it...
