Remember, more speed, more distance traveled. So don't hang around for long at low speeds, you won't get far. Pick up as much speed and height as u can and then try to not loose any speed, sacrifice height instead. Don't bounce, it'll bleed a lot of speed. Did the 6k on my first try this way!

I just discovered the secret to a quick finish (just did it in 15). Go for height achievment 1st. The altitude readout on the glider is much lower than the achievment requirement.

@shmackledorf: Many and Big thanks, really... I don't know how, But I Managed to get it under 19 days, with -2 on the Acceleration and -1 on the Air resistance... Had to sacrifice a bit of Height almost near the 5.6k in order to gain the needed speed to finish the 6k, but, without your detailed Vid, I wouldn't be able to do it ;D

also you can keep you speed on 200 mark with power using of rockets and wind resistance about 3-6%. Then the fuel is gone just keep height and minimize wind resist.

to reach 6000 feet after having everything upgraded glide just above horizontal where the wind resistance is at 4% and lightly tap the rockets to keep yourself between 125 and 150 mph then after you run out of fuel start to dive down once you start losing altitude and just glide the rest of the way
