to easily get 6000 distance with all the upgrades do this :
keep your resistance at 3%
use rockets to maintain your speed between 150 and 200.
This should get you to 4000-5000 distance at 40 altitude. Then finish the distance by yourself :D

wow... okay, well for people gunning for the 6000 ft mark. Literally, cannon yourself up till you have about half your fuel canisters left, then glide at 0% resistance exactly, when ya get about 10 from the water, fuel yourself back up at no more than 17% resistance, then glide at 0 all the way to 6k. Worked for me, was actually really easy ^^

Quick tip, you can get everything a little faster by skipping forward on challenges, thus earning a bigger reward. I find the height challenge to be an easy money maker.
