Two grind-tastic features in the early game that really need to be changed: 1. Don't make opening chests dependent on having opened other chests. Fighting the weakest monsters repeatedly is boring and time-consuming, yet I have to because only the first two areas have any chance of dropping the 10 easy chests I need. 2. If the first Desert mission recommends level 8, don't make the Archer start off at lv5. In a game like this with zero shared exp for kills, you're forcing me to grind battles (and manipulating the fights so she gets kills) to get her caught up. If I don't grind out her levels, she has a lower chance of getting kills, and every kill that someone else gets puts her another 60exp behind. If she falls any more levels behind, she'll be even less likely to get kills, and so the cycle continues.

4/5 - Thumbs up from a big fan of FF Tactics games. Lost 1 star because it's just too damn slow paced to stick with it for long. Maybe a speed option for us impatient ones? :)

i also feel that need shortcut mayb like having the "attack" on the main menu or able to set hotkeys to attacks like those u commonly use

add keyboard shortcuts, so you don't have to click a direction every time. transitions from scene to scene is way too slow.
a speed up button would be nice.

I never actually played FFT, so it's fresh to me. Pretty good. I do wish the direction facing arrows were easier to click on, and the floaty number speed & spellcasting could still be faster.

Magnificent game! Albeit a few bugs here and there, and a little to be worked out, but definitely a wonderful game. And for the clicks, they are necessary, any gamer should know that.

exp bug . kage defeated enemy w/poison and battle ended. 100 exp registered after entering next battle. now status reads :exp 434 / 300. 134 points past lvl 6 and status still reads as kage @ lvl5. Looking at all the other post it seems this is another unfinished game presented to Kongregate for beta testing.

Good concept, decent execution. Interface is very clean and well done. However, everything takes about three times as long as it should. Seriously. Walking, attacking, resting, everything. I've done a few missions and I don't want to keep playing because there's too much waiting around and not enough playing. If you sped everything up considerably, you'd increase the fun factor several times over. Simple fix, drastic effect.

Wow, the impatience of todays gamers. Makes me proud to have played those horribly hard games for things like the SNES. Much much worse than this. You kids have it too easy these days.

i have 3 snakes moving around continuously because I dont have a player to move lol

If you made it so it does not pause for the exp to pop up that would make the battle a little faster. just make it so it pps up right when he hits the guy.
