Eh...i dunno. Thought it was gonna turn out better. Slow animations (yes it does matter just a little, i can deal with it but things add up), no storyline as far as i can tell (who the hell is this mage that joins when you get to the first town? What's his story?), and also a total FFT rip-off. It's not bad, but it's not great.
What would i change? Don't pick direction after moving. What's the point if you take an action? Also, you could have made some new units...seeing the same things i've already fought in the ultimate defense games was less than exciting.

Final Fantasy Tactics redone and put on kong? ALMOST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!
Guys - is this game really long and good? i hope so. whenevre i find a good seeming game like this it turns out to be a demo/exclusive contents/way too short. We'll see!!!!

Pretty decent game so far. Two big things though:
#1. It occasionally freezes mid-battle. Extremely aggravating if it was a long battle and you were near the end, or hadn't saved in a bit.
#2. It is VERY difficult to maneuver to a square to the upper left of an enemy or ally. Generally their frame takes up the entire square, making it extremely difficult to click unless you get the cursor in the EXACT pixel you need.

Otherwise a very good game! Nice graphics, good mechanics (although not original by far), and I'd definitely play it after you fix the little annoyances. Still, it gets a 4/5 because of the lack of game mechanic originality.

Also, the lock pick thing is much too easy when playing on touch-pad (on a laptop) or with high precision mouse. Maybe you could alter the mini-game a little? Make it more challenging.

I've been playing it for 15 minutes so far and I'm annoyed by the slowness of each game. If you could make an option for hasty actual character movement, it would be great. I hate to have to spend 5 minutes to kill 3 mobs in the deep woods... It's a little silly.

Hey guys, I am working on the issue with the characters moving through enemies when surrounded, which causes freezing of the game. I will also fix the mage guild giving out multiple scrolls of the same spell. Thanks for your patience.

Love this game - reminds me of FF tactics. You have to speed it up though. This is the only thing that deters me from playing this game constantly. It may sound drastic, but it needs to be at least 3 or 4X the speed it is now. It takes so long just to watch your guy walk anywhere or start to hit. Perfect otherwise from what I've seen. 5/5.

I don't understand why everyone is complaining about speed... It's not too slow and it's not too fast.. It's a tactics game.. It's not supposed to fly by...
I think the programmer should leave it as is.. The speed is just fine.

oh... a feature of most strategy turn/tactical rpgs... an UNDO button to reset your move if you would like to re-think how you are going to move/attack. Add an UNDO or RESET feature so you can take back a turn or move before you confirm doing it.

Still too slow. Not just in battle either, too many fade effects for common events like saving and battle start/end. Also, movement in battle makes no sense. If I can move 3 units in any direction normally, I shouldn't be able to take 9 steps to circle around two enemies just because my destination is within 3 units of where I started

Nice game, really, but I have to agree with others players : do something about the speed of the game, because it is to long in battle. Add a "speed up" button or just set this up in the options.

Also if you learn the spells from the scrolls twice. They appear in your spell menu in battle twice.. So now I have poison twice in my spells menu.. This should be fixed..

I'm going to hold off on rating it for a few days to see what gets fixed.
Some things that NEED to happen are
1. fix the blue map screen bug
2. increase battle speed/less clicks to do things
3. let us delete unwanted spells caused by the spellscroll glitch
4. GET RID OF THE DEAD BODIES, it's really sad when you lose because you were poisoned and bodies were in the way of getting to the enemy...
5. for some reason small mana potions randomly wont work
some things that would just be nice...
1. Remove the need of having to go back to the first level to get easy treasure chests so you can level lockpicking...
2. reduce or even remove the cost of using the inns

gave up 10mins in as it was too slow.
things that can be done to improve the speed:
1)add a repeat move
2)remove the VS in battle, just hit numbers appear, view enemies hp by clicking on them
3)make rest instant, take away the sleeping thing
4)add options to degrade the quality low med and high.
other than the slowness its a good game i just wanted to offer some constructive criticism.
at this point rate i rate it as 3/5

Found a bug..
Everytime I go from a menu or mission and click mage guild.. I get new spells.. and Those scrolls can be sold in the shop for 1 gold. So if anyone took their time. They could get enough gold to get them started.. Should fix this.. Should only be able to get the scrolls from the mage school once.

The game is a solid 5. It's mostly bug-free (I had one issue with the screen blanking out at the top, but with a save and a reset it worked okay) I'm also a tactics-freak so this game plays right into the type I love and will keep me hooked for hours. How about in addition to EXP at death with poison, that small XP is earned after each poison hit to creature? (example creature -5 hp from poison, mage cast it, mage earns 1 or 2 xp from it) Lockpicking was a cute touch and very tricky and frustrating at first. But once you get the idea of it, it falls in place nicely. Further possible minor bug: If you have no mana root to use, it is still 'select and useable'from item menu duriing a battle (you get no mp gain, but you may want to consider coding it so the option isn't even there if there is no mana root in inventory)

evilbob, you can't use the 50 gold one once you unlock the 3rd character/100 gold inn..
Otherwise everyone would use the ol' FREE heal from the start.

the game still moves too slow, Its a good idea but, it just seems lacking for depth, some mroe story would be nice and being able to just click on characters to move and attack in range with one click would be nice, everything else, fantastic. I'll check the game later to see if there are any updates

This is my favourite type of attacking game.
My fave game ever is final fantasy: tactics advance because it involves so much strategy instead of everyone stand in a line and attack. This is a game that could obviously be improved but i really enjoy playing it.
