A few problems :
1. you can move as if you could walk through enemies, but not allies. should switch this.
2. You cant cancel End Turn or Move
3. You should be able to change cmaera angle.
Also, I think you should be able to look at an allies or enemys stats on your turn. Also, add a menu that shows whos attacking next for the next 10 rounds or so.

You need a way to go back, like if you accidentally hit "End Turn"....there needs to be a way to go back a menu during battle.
Otherwise, good game. 4/5

Pretty good, but does need further speeding up.
I am having an issue at the moment, I am up to the mission "Eye Guys" and when I click the mission and then accept it just drops me back to the map.

Nice game. It seems a bit overly slow, though. Not in the sense of lag, but rather just the way the controls are set up seems to make things take longer to do than necessary. One problem is having to use the mouse for everything. If I could have one hand on the mouse for movement, and use arrows and enter for the menu, that would make things go faster. There are other things like the fade ins for battles, and the shop/equipment system could use a lot of streamlining (Choosing the character you want to re-equip in the first place in stead of a "next character" button, showing the inventory instead of blank useless space, so I could just click what I want to equip and have it automatically switch with the applicable item being replaced, etc.)
4/5: plenty of graphical polish, but it needs a bit more polish on the mechanics.

Pretty nifty. FFT style gameplay, but with Ogre Tactics looking hero graphics. :# Being able to name your own hero or other characters, or gender choice, would be appreciated, but eh. Nice work.

No, tehfatkid is right - sometimes Kage's spells say they do damage with a number above the enemies head, but then do not actually take away hp from the enemy. Usually the spells do register the damage though. The main place I noticed it was against the leader thing - I can't remember what they are called( the squid like things).

The UI could use a bit of streamlining. There are too many sub-menus (many things could be folded together into one menu). Menu animation also slows down the game unnecessarily.

LOL for those of u who never played ogre battle for snes, the main character is a paladin from that game. I like it but the interface could be faster.

very Final Fantasy Tacticsish which is why im not going to play i'll just keep on thinking how the real game better :P

Reminds me more of the Vandal Hearts Series for some reason, though I can see the vague tones people note from Final Fantasy Tactics In any case, I agree with WreKed1, Tedious but impressive no less.

What's sad is that most people are calling this a ripoff of FFTA, when the original FFT was the far superior game. :p Really though, I agree with WreKed1. Who cares if it's the same genre as FFT? "Ripoff" is as annoyingly overused as "sellout."
I like this game so far, aside from the overpriced inns. Grandpa's a traitor for not letting me rest at his house anymore.

The Inns Are total bs... A 100 for one night? It should be almost nothing... If it werent for that, it would be almost playable
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
kinda lyke ffta rip off but has some things that makes it different .sometimes u can barely click the monsters or square u want to click.slow as hell and riduleously high hp monsters. the inns should be a bit lowered for price but good flash game overall 3/5.

To quote isomic: "lol another ffta rip off"
To reply to isomic: lol another knowitall who knows squat. FFT wasn't the first tactical rpg, the genre existed for years, they only stuck the now popular "Tactics" in the name, that's it. So in effect, FFT is a rip off. But if we're gonna call everything a rip off, we would only allow 1 game in every genre, and where's the fun in that? Think before you speak, and don't tear everything down just 'cause you're on the internet.
Now to comment the game. Pretty fun, and pretty impressive for a flash game, albeit it does get a bit slow and tedious.

Reminds me of an old PS1 game... Tactics: Ogre.... THere are some differences, but the basic attacks and battle system seems very similar to that.

Two glitches ive had a problem with, Movement squares not showing for accessable squares(no bodys/terrain in the way) and second is Kages spell not doing any damage at all... otherwise a decent game
