Also, not to belabor a point too much, but in case other people plan on doing what you described, it might not be any better. Kronus and Kage both do more damage than Archer, and they start one-shotting those weak monsters pretty quickly. Instead of ganging up monsters and killing one per round, you might end up having to sit everyone else out entirely and needing 6 rounds for Archer to kill 3 enemies.

xandramas, how does that solve either of the problems I mentioned? I still have to fight those weak monsters at almost no benefit to my other characters, and I still have to spend the time leveling up only Archer. Yes, I can plan to do them simultaneously had I known about it, but I didn't and a new player wouldn't. There's nothing to indicate beforehand that Archer would be in the Desert, and I had 5 medium chests by the time I got lockpicking 5, so yeah, I wanted to open those chests soon to see if I can get some good items or equipment.

Anyone who compares this to the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game, don't. That game was way better than this one. And also, you might want to put a cancel button when you make a mistake in moving your character. Battles go too long than they should because of it. 2/5

ARGH make it faster even the gain exp thingy is slowslowslow -.- my first battle and boredzz.if its faster shld be quite nice.

A flash remake of Vandal hearts, I like it. Only it's too damn slow. Everything just bogs down the experience. Sorry.

i reckon what this game mostly needs now is to get rid of turning and waiting times at things like start of battle and resting at inns

A comment to aabcehmu, you complain about having to do the lower level stuff to get chests and having a low level character having trouble killing stuff.. How about using that low level character mostly on the lower levels to get those chests and level her up. Might be an idea

So... you can't choose what character moves first, it's slow almost to the point of being unplayable, you have to grind for chests, the recommended levels are way out of wack, and you can only turn the sound off in your turn. Why is this game good at all?!!

My mage just did 25 flame damage to a garden snake that has 25 health and it did not DIE!!! Even worse, It's life was still there!!!

Something that needs fixed: If a character cannot get to a square (if its surrounded by enemies and/or allies and they completely block the path), it needs to NOT be highlighted as a possible destination. If you click it your character wanders around randomly and then stops.

silly the way you pick the way you face then can attack or move any were whats the point in picking which way to face

Kage just mysteriously died and turned into a treasure chest. Don't know how that happened as he had plenty of HP against a low-level monster. Anyway, I tried to move Kronus onto the chest and all of a sudden I can't do anything. It'll let me mouseover Kronus and the monsters for their info, but no action menus are available.
Other than that, good game.

Fun gameplay, but I agree with the many many people who state that it is too slow. Maybe even a speed toggle would be nice. Also, an in-game sound option would be good. Also, when a space is partially colored by an higher space in front of it, it is difficult to tell which space the cursor is on. It would be good to block the view of the cursor as if the higher space was blocking it. I hope there will be sequels.

ok, game seems pretty good ... but I think I found a bug?
unless my laptop's just being stupid
I was fighting the 3 snakes in the deep forest, I was standing near the top right, and the 1st snake attacked me...
when it got back to my turn, it skipped my turn, and the background went dark?
all the snakes started attacking me, then it said I had NaN health left, and I instantly died?
ok, im gonna retry, see if it happens again
still, game looks good

[Graphics 5/5] Amazing. Great and detailed. Goodjob
[Gameplay 3/5] - Almost had it. You sped it up. But just increase it a little more.
[Challenge 3/5] - Just right. Good job
[Overall - 4/5] - Great job mate. Just needs a few battle tweaks and then it'll be awesome.

Needs to be even faster. Movement atleast, and the wait between commands and the effects going away. like why do I need to wait 5-10 seconds every tim I want to rest or use an inn? Horribly rough game, but it has the chance to be fun. I just reached level 4 getting the level 5 mission and finishing the level 4 mission (on Level 3-_-;...) so it also smells like grinding a little..

Needs a way to increase speed, badly. But mostly, needs to lose unnecessary clicks. Action>Attack>Slice? Can't Attack just be a menu item? One click? And why do I need to End Turn when there's absolutely nothing left I could do anyway?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just as a suggestion, what if there was a button to hit to make it go two or three times as fast. That way we can still follow what the monsters are doing, but we don't have to wait for it in realtime.

3/5 It's so slow as to make leveling up painfully boring. I just don't really have the patience to slog my way through it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
By manipulating, I mean making other people skip their turns until Archer can make the final shot. It's just more time wasted in an already slow game. As for the recommended levels, while they may be higher than required, they are not much higher than practical. By the time I finished the missions in the first city and got my 10 easy chests, I was already halfway to lv8, so the Archer starts off 2.5 levels back without me having had any intention to power level.

It really isn't that difficult to force anyone to get a particular kill, ESPECIALLY the archer, considering her range. Everyone does fixed damage per hit (unless the rare crit/miss occurs). I've had zero problems manipulating it. Besides the "recommended" levels are way way higher than they need to be.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like a good concept, however it's unbelievably slow. Saves ultra fast, yet you rest overnight and there's this huge lag between resting and telling you your hp/mp have been restored.
Work on these speed issues and it's a sold 4 to 5 game.

Two grind-tastic features in the early game that really need to be changed: 1. Don't make opening chests dependent on having opened other chests. Fighting the weakest monsters repeatedly is boring and time-consuming, yet I have to because only the first two areas have any chance of dropping the 10 easy chests I need. 2. If the first Desert mission recommends level 8, don't make the Archer start off at lv5. In a game like this with zero shared exp for kills, you're forcing me to grind battles (and manipulating the fights so she gets kills) to get her caught up. If I don't grind out her levels, she has a lower chance of getting kills, and every kill that someone else gets puts her another 60exp behind. If she falls any more levels behind, she'll be even less likely to get kills, and so the cycle continues.

4/5 - Thumbs up from a big fan of FF Tactics games. Lost 1 star because it's just too damn slow paced to stick with it for long. Maybe a speed option for us impatient ones? :)

i also feel that need shortcut mayb like having the "attack" on the main menu or able to set hotkeys to attacks like those u commonly use
