Oh! And you might consider something like exp gained for killing the monster is awarded to each character based on their damage done/monster's total hp (though poison damage might be an issue). A huge exp bonus for the kill shot doesn't seem that balanced :-/.

Suggestion: if it's not intended, you might change it so new characters start with the min exp for their current level (as opposed to 0 exp), since other chars seem to carry over exp from level to level. Also, as others have said, it'd be more fun if the monsters' attack was ramped up a bit. Otherwise, very nice game (though a double-speed option would be super!)

Just found a GLITCH. If you poison a monster (Has to die by the poison) in one round and go back in the same area (it also has to be the same map) the monster thats you poisoned will be automatically dead the next round, you get the EXP for it also, so make sure you poison a high level monster(20EXP) and a monster that gives you 8exp for killing it will give you 20exp. The poisoned monster in the next round will be dead, but it still has full hp?! weird.
When I learned this trick I poisoned a different monster in each round, when all of them where poisoned they all Died Aromatically the next round...

Well it comes after the attack if you stand still, but when you move it asks you what directions to stand in, It should ask you after Every action is already taken.

Dissapointing that for no reason at all, my mage dude just doesn't do any damage at all with any of his spells for no reason.

Like many have said, way too slow, clicking 3 times to do a basic attack is absolutely unnecessary. Honestly though, my biggest complaint is the difficulty...or lack thereof. I cannot for the life of me picture a scenario where anyone would be bad enough to lose. There is no challenge, what are we supposed to get out of this? A tactics game of all genres should require some...god forbid...tactics. I don't even bother buying gear, I'm hitting enemies for 30+ and being hit for...4? You kidding? I'm 6 or 7 levels below the recommended at this point...you get the idea. Good solid base though, with some MAJOR tweaking it could be a good game.

instead of saying "too slow" why not suggest faster ways here? like after you've done a move AND an action why have the choice menu come up again? i mean what are you going to look at status for if the charature can't do anything else?
but i'd like to report a bug that showed up after the poison scroll that makes the game almost unplayable. after he learns it the spell style seems to change and the bar across the top that says the name never completely goes away.it covers up the save game option and blurs part of the inventory (also choosing a treasure chest becomes a task)

Yeah it was impossible with an old computer and dial up. Now I have high speed and a faster dual core, not fastEST but damn what kind of processor can play this thing?! It is still so slow.. Why doesn't anyone fix this? Ditch the fading.

Anyone know why, when I buy new armor/weapons, they don't show up anywhere (& are thus unusable)? Or rather, how to fix that? Is it a bug?

Like a very simplified FFT. What is up with the lockpick skill? I am already getting medium treasures but my skill is at 4, and I can't open the mediums until 10. But opening treasures is what raises it!
How about less exp for kills, and more for attacks? Micromanaging who gets the kill is a little annoying after a while.

fun graphics and a decent start at emulating the legendary ff tactics, but you left all sorts of bugs in it that really need to be fixed.

having to click 4 different buttons to attack kind of sucks... you should just be able to click on the nearest enemy to use your basic melee attack, and then have more advanced skills under the menu

I suggest eliminating the "action" option on the combat menu and relocating the "attack" and "item" buttons to the main combat menu.

how do you unlock treasure chests on ultimate tactics. I've done everything it says, but whenever i go back to grandpa to learn it, he just says 'i cant give you any more lock picks' so i go and buy one and still he says the same thing - the twat. please will someone help me. please 'help the aged'
