Ok, so I won a battle (fire scorpion was the last guy, on Great Pyramids) and I beat the last guy with poison. So I started another battle, and it first subtracted 5 health from a blank space (it was a green 5) and then re-awarded me 60 exp. Not that I'm complaining :P. Then, when there was a super beetle and a purble snake left, I moved behind the snake with Kronus and selected slice, but it wouldn't let me select the snake who was right in front of me and was highlighted. The mouse didn't even chagne to a hand. Then, when I killed the other guy who was a super beetle, it said I won, even though I had an enemy still alive. Just a small bug with a long explanation.

really, likwidgames, REMAKE THIS GAME! Add some storyline. I love rpg's but i need something to follow along with to keep me interested enough to keep playing

I feel it warrants a 3/5. I like the system but I think you need to take a few things into consideration. I think that some of your numbers are a little off for example the first inn is way to high for something you need to do after every fight.
I also feel it needs some kind of storyline. It's funny to see how people who are really good programmers have a problem caring about a story, but there should be a reason I'm fighting these things. Maybe get one of your more artistic friends who knows nothing about programming to just help you come up with a story. Show them what kinds of terrain they could make or whatever and then release a Ultimate Tactics II with their story and their terrains but your great system.
@Gavrikov It does matter which way you face, attacks from the back or side do more damage. It allows you to make it take more squares of movement for your enemies to get to your back.

++1 to all the "has potential" comments. The inability to select squares/characters/enemies if they are behind landscape/characters/enemies/whatever is very troubling. The movements (both chars and enemies) are wayyyy too time consuming. Battle fade-in/out could be done more quickly also. It all adds up to a game that could be good but consumes too much time to accomplish only a little bit.

nice game, that really has potential! but some programming bugs, like units going to different spot than selected, or empty spot behind enemy cannot be selected.

- Too short.
- Directional facing gets annoying.
- Partial exp stays at 2exp even for harder enemies.
- All enemies level 1
- even when fighting in deep woods forever, emeies hadrly ever drop EASY lvl treasure chest. i.e. can never get to mide level chest opener.
- Main charater is weak.
- items cost to much and money is too small even when you fight in harder areas.
- price of the INN is TOO HIGH esp compare to money gained from one battle.
I was an an FFT Master: Level 99+ stole all items, ect etc. If you want help with what kind of content to put into this game, please contact me.
This game has the basis to be a 5 star game.

Likwid you need to add an option which turns off the option to turn your character at the end of your move. It gets annoying having to do that b/c it doesn't make any kind of difference.

LOL also if you can try to get the battle camera so that it is move-able, it would then eliminate problems moving characters and seeing them...

agh.... nice try on the game but considering that I have lots of experience playing high quality games (FFT) This game needs huge improvements. For example I had an option to move behind enemy and attack so I did that, instead character moved one step back and stopped... also the direction option is kinda useless because whatever way you attack at u stay at the direction u attacked and not the one you picked... it would work however if you made the direction option put after the "end turn" another thing is that the spell titles when you cast them have too long of a "start up time". I hope this will help 3/5

It needs a "CANCEL" button at the top of the items list in-battle, so that you don't have to scroll alllll the way down to get out of that menu.

Anyone else have a problem where you select a square to move your character to and he goes the opposite direction?

quite a good tactical game. better than another one i played in newgrounds quite a while ago.
piece of advice, make an option to make movement faster in game, take off some options, possibly in battle sound off/on.

Mobs should just hit way harder from the back also... and there could be some mobs that heal others. Definitly more mobs and harder...

for some reason, after forgetting to save and then coming back to the game, there was no misson in sandos for me to do, and no damascus on my map...glitch?

eh, nice job but
unnecessay delays within game are dragging the overal impression down, there should be like a SKIP button when enemies are moving

Good concept and design - much like FFTA
Recommend:
- Need to be able to customize character stats as they level up
- The direction choice should be left to when you "end turn"
- "Attack" should go directly into choosing which enemy as there is only 1 attack choice
- Need to have an AOE attack/spell of some sort
Bad:
- Lack of a proper storyline
- Gameplay too slow : a battle should not have to take 10 minutes to finish
- Lockpick : the low drop rates for treasure makes it extremely difficult to increase levels for higher chests
- Game should not end when kronus dies: what is the point of have the other party members and resurection potions?

For those wondering what the thief guild, very hard chests give but have no patience here's the answer: guild gives thief gloves which increases the chance of getting chests and the very hard chests give elixer, lg hp potion or 242 gold
